You know, I've heard this so many times now and I still don't know what his sketches looks like. I've seen a few of his finished pieces but incredibly great as he is he hasn't really been an influence on me. He entered my scene too late I think, I was already up to my ears in other comic artists when I first saw his work. Thanks for the comparison though

heh cultish? Perhaps, didn't think of that when I added the symbols since they're part of the major theme in the Azaya world where the comic is taking place. but now that you mention it they make me think of druids for some reason

I don't know anything about the Azaya world. But from the eyes of a stranger, to me anyway, it looks rather cultish. Not that that's a bad thing in art. It's very interesting.

Thx again, love drawing trees. I think it's because of the lines and curves and stuff along with the detail work. Anything can be applied to it so there's a lot of freedom in drawing them. If it's not going to be a typical pine tree or an oak or similar that is^^
