Well, well, if it isn't my second favorite variety ... the demonic wizards shrouded in mystery sort. And bonus points for the deceptive kind who like looking way younger(and prettier?) Than their actual (unknown) age and form. *rolls eye's at herself*This is fanart from an obscure anime "Heroic legend of Arislan/Arslan"

. I took some screencapture's for reference [link] . Apparently I've distorted the fella, but that kinda fits, as in 'teh' evil' shows through the disguise or something.This pic got a little overworked, and it still looks unfinished -_-;. I was really happy when I started off with it, then I got bored.

Hmm. I've never seen the anime, but your pic is much prettier than the reference. Much better colored too--especially the silky green cloth around his head. Those are really cool magical effects from the crystal ball, by the way: as if the crystal's throwing out droplets of light.
Automatic fave because he's a mage and he's got white-ish hair.

actually, you improved his looks a lot
He's still got somewhat sticky arms, and the 'unused' arm hangs off his shoulder a bit useless (a slight movement in the hand would've been neat!) but it's still not a bad picture at all. I like the colors and atmosphere, and most of all the face. Looks like a calm manic expression... if that's possible xD;
