Description
This thing started as a speedpainting practice that I referenced from this image, but I kinda continued to play with it, upscaled it twice and refined it more, added some details....it's not really a polished painting, but I think it looks quite decent, and I liked the clouds
they were fun! But yeah, I don't know how long this took me, I just worked a bit on it here and there during the past days. I hope you like it!

I've had this in my message centre all this time, and it has always fallen into the category of "art I love, but don't know how to critique right". Some art, I can reel off huge comments on, because it's clear where the piece succeeds and where improvement can be made, but with traditional painting styles, like this one, there's nothing practical I can say. It looks stunning, it's all I know how to say.

Oh Memod! Nice one! For being a speed painting, you have a great deal of detail in here. I love the texture of the sky, definitley a wintry feel but distinctly morning. The little boy on hte beach is a great focal point and the lines of the beach itself help draw my eye around this work. All around a great piece. Great, steady color palette and a great sense of space. Beautiful!

It's good. Definitely has a wintery feel to it, though without the snow. For some reason, when I first glanced at it, the sand gave it a sort of time lapse feel to it, but the feeling passed. I love the clouds, as usual, they have wonderful detail, and the ship is an excellent addition to the shot, as is the running figure in the foreground. All around nice shot, and it's good to see that you haven't been wasting your time away! Can't wait to see some more stuff.

I have actually started some other works too, done some concepts and speedpaintings, but well, I also started school, and even though it is rather relaxed at the moment, it does take up some time...and will take up more as it progresses.

Nicely done mate! I might have wanted the table to stick out a bit more, and the silhouette to merge somewhat more softly into the background, but all in all very well implemented!
