If there's one thing I hate, it's people ruining my expensive art pens. And by "expensive art pens" I mean Berol Fineliners, but shut up, they're like £3 for two.I simply cannot art without these pens, as I need my drawings to have a nice, black outline and these are the only pens I've found that do that well enough. However, no matter where I hide them, someone in my family always gets ahold of them and, it would appear, use them to bludgeon something. Every other pen in the house is fine. >:I

I know that feel.
I'm not an artist, but I use higher-than-average-quality pens for most of my writing. I'm hypersensitive kinesthetically, and when I write with normal pens/pencils, it hurts my teeth to feel the tip scratch the paper. It seems like whenever I lend people one of my nice pens, they destroy them. Back in high school, I lent a guy one of my pens for a class period and watched him use the tip to pick his teeth while writing.

I get that when someone asks to borrow a pen at school. I normally have to say 'DON'T use my art pens or I will destroy your very being.'
