I think it's a bit n00by to put ledgendaries on your team, or more than one psuedo-ledgandary. I never play online, so I tend to just make a team of pokemon I like.
This leads to a ridiculous type-weakness across my team, as you can probably guess

I hope you know that since the release of Ray Rizzo's (the Senior World Champion) team, people have been spamming Cresselia, Garchomp, Tyranitar, and Metagross everywhere. I personally only consider legendary Pokemon "legendary" if they're Uber. If they're below that tier, it's not exactly "nooby" as you call it. Take Cresselia, for example. It's in BL2, so it can't kill on its own. That's why it's a supporter, wielding Swagger as a Metagross + Lum Berry strategy.
Lucario: Close Combat, Aerial Ace, Dark Pulse, ExtremeSpeed w/Expert Belt
An EV-invested Lucario can counter your entire team, until your Tynamo (bad stats lead to 1HKO) evolves. Then it can resist Lucario and counter with a Flamethrower.

So? The fact is, your team is still prone to weaknesses. Furthermore, why does a date matter? You still made an incorrect statement. Think of it as a mere reminder, i.e. if you DID play online.
(They're still perfectly okay to use, as long as they're under a Creative Commons license or the original artist states that the image(s) is/are free to use. A lot of people use official artwork, since that's already used by multiple websites. Look around dA, there are plenty of people that are skilled in image-editing, and they have no hate comments. I'm not explaining more if you don't get my logic.)

To support my argument, many people upload images with official artwork, renders, etc. in them.
Renders are rips from images, and they aren't 100% original, yet the image stays on.
Examples:

The fact is that in single player you can get away with a fucking team of magikarps if you have enough levels. Your "advice" is unhelpful and, indeed, a year late. Also, my statement was an opinion. I never said it was a fact.
Now, I'm not sure what out of your deviations is under creative commons, since I just looked through, but I'm pretty sure official game art is copyrighted to the respective owners. I KNOW you're not allowed to use official pokemon art, for example. The problem is, you see, that when you upload stuff to dA, it's copyrighting it as YOURS. If someone steals your art, you can take legal action. So it doesn't matter that other sites use official art - that's irrelevant, as the're not trying to copyright it as belonging to them.
Yes, dA is rife with people using art they shouldn't, and the simple fact of the matter is that they haven't been caught yet.
Pointing out when you're breaking the rules isn't hate. It's a statement of fact at worst, help at best.

If official artwork belongs to respective owners, why do people constantly use them? They DON'T try to copyright them as well, like your example of websites. Giving credit in the description of your deviation doesn't brand it as yours.
You can't "catch" image-editors if they give credit. In my other recent comment, I showed a list of images with artwork in them. Are you going to report them as well? I apologize for being vague, but I mean hate as in non-positive comments.

Yes. I play single player because I don't WANT challenge. I want the joy of watching my pokemon evolve, of seeing new pokemon, the places, the story. As I said, I pick pokemon I like, and I don't bother with balancing. What I said was an opinion I had a year ago, and a trivial one at that which should not offend your sensibilities. Right now, my opinion is that I don't care. I haven't played pokemon in months! And here's some little tit calling me out on something that I haven't even thought about in ages.
DeviantART automatically copyrights your stuff. You see the (C)yourname under everything? That's legal. You can't stop it. You can't negate it. Giving credit doesn't change jack shit. It's in the rules, and you agreed to the rules when you made your account. I can go find the FAQs that say so, if you insist. Also on a side note, hate means hate. You can't re-define words because you couldn't think of the right ones. You can't make "hate" (a very strong, emotive word) synonymous with "non-positive comments", especially since "non-positive" can include everything from neutral to dismissal, very different from hate.

So are you going to mini-mod and report every single image-editor here? Look at the image again, if you have permission, or the author says anyone can use it, then it's usable. And if it copyrights, you can list the sources you used within the description. The image you made is copyright, but the images within it are not. That's why you state that the images are not yours, rather you combined them to make a better image. As I said before, I'm not explaining any further.

Look, I just saw your gallery and thought I'd tell you, ok? I'm not mini-modding, there's a report deviation button for a reason - it's the user's responsibility to report deviations - the staff don't check what everyone's uploading. I could've just sent a report. I haven't. I just wanted to tell you.
Some of the images you use are copyrighted. End of. You can't use them. If you have written permission from the artist, yes, but you don't have that for all of your stuff. Because it's copyrighted and you're not allowed to use it. I really can't make this simpler.
If something is copyrighted, crediting it won't allow you to use it.
If you edit something out of an original, copyrighted image, that does not make it ok, either. if you stole SOME of someone's car, does that make it ok? No, it doesn't. I'm sorry for having to use such a drastic example, please don't try to argue the semantics of that (possibly poor) comparison, because the point I'm trying to make remains.
If you edited out something from one of my deviations - say one of my comics - and used it, that would still be against the rules, as my images are copyrighted. Even if you credited me, it still wouldn't make it right! It's the same with any other piece of copyrighted material.
Combining images you do not own does not make it right, either. Saying that you did not own the images does not make it right. The rules are being broken, and there's nothing you can do. Either use work you make yourself, or stock, etc, or don't upload it here. There's plenty of other sites for that, like Photobucket. Or maybe Tumblr?
A lot of people who edit images ARE using copyrighted material, because they do not know the rules. "But other people do it" isn't an excuse. A lot of people who edit images, however, use proper stock photos, which are allowed, or have written consent from the creator.

Millions of people, on other sites use official work. That is allowed because they are not copyrighting the official work as their own. On dA you are. DA gives you a little legal sign, on everything you upload, saying that it belongs to YOU, YOU alone, and no-one can steal it. If you're uploading things that are copyrighted to someone ELSE... you can see the problem.

Renders are images of characters without backgrounds that are uploaded for use by other people. Backgrounds interfere with image-editing, therefore renders are made to portray a character in a position without complications. ...Basically, it's a cut-out of a character or an image depicting a character. You RENDER the actual character more useful in images without the background.
