So yeah. I'm having trouble connecting to the YGOTAS minecraft server. When I FINALLY get on, it's all laggy. So laggy.LIKE YOU WOULDN'T BELEIVE
WHAT HAVE I DONE TO DESERVE SUCH LAG.
It must've been terrible.
EDIT PLEASE STOP COMMENTING WITH ADVICE. I appreciate it, but this comic is OLD, and I DIDN'T REALLY NEED HELP IN THE FIRST PLACE.

I don't think that would be the cause for difficulties connecting to minecraft servers at all. It's more likely that your internet is too slow, too many people are using the same access point, or something like your firewall is interfering with connections.
That said, having too much random shit on a laptop (which probably won't have a lot of RAM in the first place, although laptops seem to be ridiculous these days) is pretty stupid. Uninstall what you don't need, or at least stop it all running in the background. Invest in a decent anti-virus if these "random things" are stuff you've downloaded off the internet.

Well... Most of the lag i've seen has been on servers with the port # 25565. This is my theory: If you can find a local server with a different port number, you will likely experience little to no lag. Assuming you have either 1.4.6 or 1.4.7, this is the server I play on. IP: 64.31.40.34:25571 It has a friendly community and you will likely made fast friends.

I DID read them! It was meant as a reference to solve future problems. I know the artist said she wasn't experiencing those problems anymore. I mere stated a theory I had that port numbers may be partially to blame. Go see for yourself. 25565 has the most lag-prone servers I have ever seen, probably because there are so many of them. Stupid mortal...
