Black Mothra

12,000 years ago, the Earth was at peace after the great battle of the evil dragon and harmony began to flow. Such harmony was that of the Spirit of Earth and an advance civilization, known as the Cosmos. Soon though, the Cosmos began to feel dwarfed by the omnipotent Earth. From that, the Cosmos created a powerful device that would allow them to control Earth's climates. Angered, the Earth summoned Mothra and the Elias before her. The Spirit of Earth wanted Mothra to destroy the Cosmos, but Mothra and the Elias refused to be apart of such death and destruction. However though, Moll and Lora's elder sister Belvera, beseeched the Earth, if Earth's own gaurdian could not accomplish the task at hand, then why not the Earth itself. Intigued by this, Belvera continued to say how the Earth should make it's own Mothra, but darker, colder, and merciless, but just enough so that it would still protect Earth. The Earth agreed, and from the Earth's anger was born a new, black hearted Mothra, Battra.

The Earth gave command to Belvera to be at Battra's side, like Moll and Lora to Mothra. Battra and Belvera spared no second and quickly headed for the Cosmos. Within a few minutes, the Cosmos and the weather machine were dead and Battra had done his home proud.

Moll and Lora soon begged the Earth to stop with Battra's destruction, and Earth agreed, Battra had done his job. But for Battra and Belvera, it wasn't enough. Belvera knew another foolish colony may try to control Earth and couldn't stop yet. Battra, as Earth's physical embodiment of rage, agreed heavaly. Eventually, Mothra and the Elias tried to halt Belvera's plans and Battra's wrath. Mothra, combined with the Earth too, soon stopped Battra and sealed him in an egg and sealed him away in present day Indonesia. As for Belvera, the Earth sealed her away too, in a small cell to which, for her treachery, would be banished there, forever. Belvera cursed the Earth and vowed an oath of Vengence apon Earth and her sisters. If not for the Earth's intervention, Battra may very well have destroyed Mothra and so many others.

In 1992, a large meteorite had crashed around the Ogasawara Trech causing chaos. The crash caused massive waves of destruction, including around Southeast Asia, resaulting in Battra's egg being unearthed. The elias seal on the egg burned away soon during the rain and began to glow a blood red hue. The impact also awakened a hibernating Godzilla at the bottom of the Trench.

Meanwhile, a thief named Takuya Fujita, had been detained by his ex-wife Masako Fujita. In order to skip an extended sentence in jail, Takuya, Masako, and the Marutomo companies representative, Kenji Andoh, are sent out to the Indonesian Islands. The Marutomo company planned to develop on the land, but a reported object stands in their way, so the team is sent to investigate.

On the island, the team eventually discovers a massive red and black egg on the island, that which was responsible for the blocking. The Elias soon present themselves to the group and explain the histoy of 12,000 years ago and of Battra. Seeing an opportunity, Andoh relayed the finding back to Mr. Tomokane and agreed to have the egg preserved and profited, of course that last part was kept secret by the two.

Putting trust in Andoh, Battra's egg was soon carried away to Japan, with the Elias traveling along incase of emergancy. Eventually, Mothra, larva form, came aside Battra's egg to make sure all would be safe, but no one could for see who was to come next, Godzilla. Emerging from the seas in heated rage, Godzilla began to assault around the egg and Mothra. Despite Mothra's best attempts, Godzilla easily overpowered the insect. The combonation of the battle and Godzilla roars were finally to much. The egg began to glow blood red again and finally exploded. The Elias and Mothra looked on with fear and dread as Battra emerged and roared like a demon of hell. After removing Mothra from the battle easliy, Battra turned his attention to Godzilla.As a creation of mankind's ignorance and disruption to the planet itself, Battra saw Godzilla as a much bigger target. As the two titans battled it out underwater, a massive crack in the ocean floor opens up and initiantes a huge undersea eruption. Still fighting one another, Godzilla and Battra are submerged in volcanic rock and sink away until they disappear. Weakened from the two beasts confrontation, Mothra returns home to Infant Island.

Back mainland, everyone is relaxed to know that Godzilla and Battra are gone. The happiness is broken though when the Elias are stolen by Andoh for Mr. Tomokane. Andoh, by order of Tomokane, gets the girls a doll house and furnishes it to their liking. Seeing wickidness in Tomokane, the Elias lull an ancient tune to summon Mothra.

Unbenounced to anyone, Takuya steals the girls for his own profit, thief that he his. At the same time, Mothra and the JSDF begin a battle at sea and Mothra quickly fights through them and continues mainland. Takuya is soon found by Masako, his daugther Midori, and Miki Saegusa. Convincing Takuya otherwise, the group head to a window ware Mothra comes face to face with them. The Elias say how they are alright, and to not hurt anymore people. Understanding this Mothra, weakend from battling the JSDF, heads to the Diet building and creates it's cocoon.

With many people onlooking the cocoon, Miki has a telepathic sense that tells her Godzilla is still alive. Godzilla surfaces from Mt. Fuji, which is later confirmed by the government. Mothra finally emerges from her cocoon heads out from the building. The Elias say that Mothra is heading out to find Battra and destroy him, revealing that Battra is still alive too.

Out at sea, Battra swims towards Japan. Battra realizes that while able to handle Mothra easily, Godzilla was another matter completely. Battra flung himself into the air and began energizing himself. The energy flung out and turned into two massive wings and Battra transformed just like Mothra and, far faster now, began heading inland.

Mothra and Battra soon confrunted one another in a spectacular dog fight. Even with Mothra's best attempts, Battra's signature Prism Beams finally shot down Mothra around Yokohama Cosmo World. Godzilla arrives at last and battles the newly powered Battra and, while at first taking the advantage, is soon overpowered by Godzilla. Before landing the final blow, Mothra ambushes Godzilla and temporarily disables him. Mothra touches down next to Battra and begins relayingsome of her life energy to Battra while the Elias sing once more. Godzilla awakens and Mothra locks horns with the atomic saurian once agian, and even with Mothra's scales holding back Godzilla's atomic ray, is soon overpowered by a nuclear pulse. Before Godzilla can crush Mothra with a near by ferris wheel, Battra grabs it and hurls it into Godzilla instead, saving Mothra. Battra and Mothra comunicate with one another and soon fight Godzilla together, now working as friends. Combinding Mothra's scales with Battra's Prism Beams finally overpowers Godzilla to the point of collapsing. Mothra then grabs Godzilla tale and Battra grabs Godzilla by the torso. Battra takes a massive wound to the neck by Godzilla's double rowed teeth. Finally though, Battra and Mothra carry Godzilla out to sea, were Battra, overwhelming with pain from Godzilla's bite and a point-black range atomic ray, dies mid-transit. Unable to keep her grasp, Mothra lets of Godzilla and a lifeless Battra into the sea. Mothra preforms one finall seal around Godzilla to hopefully keep him away for a while.

The next morning, Mothra and the Elias reveal that a massive meteorite, greater then the first one, will strike the Earth in 1999. Battra was actually ment to awaken in '99 to destroy the meteor, but now dead, Mothra made a promise to Battra to destroy the meteor instead. Mothra and the Elias gave one last good bye before heading out into space, leaving Earth to fend for herself for a while, but also saying how we must not make the mistakes of the past and protect the Earth ourselves. Maybe one day though, Battra would be born again from the Earth.

Godzilla Jr., the son of Godzilla, had been traveling around his former home of Adona. The once lush green land was now nothing more then a burnt and barren valley of rocks and dust. Jr. felt mixed emotions of sadness and anger and understood the same pain his father felt. Before anything else, Jr.'s eyes began to glow red agian like years ago. Searching around him, Jr. soon felt the same presence that he felt years ago when he looked up to the skies, only now that force was closer. Looking up, Jr. saw the glowing coming from atop a large cliffside. The glow soon flew down in front of Jr. and soon dimmed it's light and revealed to be a living creature. Jr. found a being much like himself with the same strange powers he did, Jr. had found something of a long lost brother. Little did he know just how much his world was about to change.
