Irradiated Pterosaur

In 1993, only a month after the U.N.G.C.C. had finished creating Super Mechagodzilla, a small research team headed out to Adona Island. While there, one of the scientists, Asuza, had come accross the monster Godzilla Jr. and, though frightened at first, soon became good friends. Since Godzilla had not been returning to Monster Island for some years, Jr. began searching for him and now, for some reason, had been staying on Adona for about 6 years perhaps. As the days passed, Jr. and Asuza bonded in a way simmilar to a mother and son.

One day though, Jr. went missing from around the campsite. Asuza and the team went searching for the tween saurian and soon had a huge gust of wind overtake them. Looking up, the only thing they could think of when they saw what created the wind was Rodan. Something was different though, this Rodan was glowing and had brighter color then the present day Rodan, this was a new Rodan! Jr. was soon spotted by the team and Rodan. At first it seemed the new Rodan might attack Jr., but instead lands down calmly in front of him. The two do battle one another, but appear to be having nothing more then a sparing match. As Jr.'s eyes and Rodan glow the same hue of red, it is assumed by the team that the two beasts are friends, perhaps even surrogate brothers.

It was believed that perhaps before Adona Island was struck by radiation or even perhaps the dinosaur extiction, these two may have been apart of the same nest. In theory, Godzilla's species may have plantted on of their eggs into another animals nest, in this case, on belonging to a Rodan's. After millions of years underground in the mountains, the young Rodan must have hatched and believed that this was his brother. As Rodan aged and years passed, Rodan must have been looking over the egg. But during the time of testing, it must have gotten seperated from the egg by the nuclear storm. Having been irradiated, it must have taken some time to properly develope and evolve away from the egg, even when it hatched. Perhaps during the massive island trasformation it fled like the other residents and never saw the egg again, but decided to look for it any way. After years of searching, Rodan found that it was not a pterosaur, but a Godzillasaur instead. Surprised and sceptical at first, the youngling carried the same sent as the egg and shared the same strange powers he did. Rodan was assured that this was his long lost "brother".

The two are interupted though by Godzilla himself, who also was looking for his son. Rodan believed Godzilla to be a threat to his "brother" and attacked Godzilla with far more violance the the first Rodan. As the two irradiated beast blasted one another, the team decided to flee the island while they could. Jr., seeing that his new surrogate mother was leaving decided to fallow her while Godzilla and Rodan continued smashing each other.

Asuza and the team saw that Jr. was fallowing them and decided to let Jr. continue. A called was put in by the team leader to the U.N.G.C.C. to have them study and housed Jr. in the former hanger of project GARUDA. The plan sounded crazy at first, but was soon agreed apon to study Jr. to perhaps find a weak spot on Godzilla.

Meanwhile, back at Adona, Godzilla had finally beaten Rodan into an unconscoius state. Looking around, Godzilla soon noticed that Jr. had gone missing agian. Roaring with anger and anguish, Godzilla soon stormed off the island to find his son.

Back at the G-Force GARUDA hanger base, the whole place had been refurbished with plants, trees, and other fauna to please their new guest. Miki Saegusa also takes a shine to the young saurian. Tests on plant samples recovered from Adona Island show something of a pattern that mimics musical notes. When played, in front of Jr., the saurian soon started acting violante and nearly destroyed the hanger. The group soon discovers that apon hearing the music, Jr. intakes massive energy.

Unintentionally though, Jr. sends out a massive surge of telepathic energy that was intersepted by Godzilla. Without delay, Godzilla rushes of to find his son. The atomic saurian soon touches down and heads for Kyoto. The U.N.G.C.C. respons by sending out their new weapon, Super Mechagodzilla. Godzilla is soon interupted by his search by the machine doppelganger and soon begins an eppic battle of Mega-Buster and Atomic Rays. Godzilla soon is brought down by the machines Plasma Grenade and is struck by the G-Crusher shock anchors. At first, the G-Crusher seems to have Godzilla pinned down, but Godzilla delivers a super shock of his own into the super weapon. Stunned by the pulse back, Godzilla brings himself back up and topples the machine in one ram. While the U.N.G.C.C. is devestated and confused on what could have gone wrong, Godzilla continues his search. Jr. is soon calmed by Asuza and dropps his telepathic call. With no way of finding his son now, Godzilla departs, sad and angered, to find his son elsewhere.

Back at Adona Island, the now dubbed Fire Rodan, on account of his uranium properties, also intersepts Jr.'s call and is also filled with energy. Smashing out of his defeat, Rodan soon believes his "brother" may be in danger and makes a beeline straight to Kyoto. Unlike Godzilla though, Rodan can target the exact location of Jr. even without telepathy, possibly an account that they share the same energy.

X-rays of Jr. soon show that the animal has a large muscle-like organ, or "sacral brain", in it's hip. If the brain be reached by a repaired Super Mechagodzilla's G-Crusher, with surgical prosession, they may be able to kill Godzilla once and for all. Miki was placed on the SMG team after the decision to fight Godzilla, agianst any argumet, being a telepath and all.

During the night though, Fire Rodan soon came into Kyoto and found where Jr. had been taken. Demolishing the ground, Rodan soon unearhed the subteranian hanger. Jr. came through the hole and Asuza followed behind. Jr. and Rodan were reunited once agian, but their reunion was cut short by the Super Mechagodzilla. Rodan gave order to Jr. to get away from the area as Rodan would be the one to handle the machine behemoth. The two titans began a dramatic battle and, while at first having an advantage with his speed, Rodan was soon overpowered by the Plasma Grenade. Beaten bloody and near death, Rodan lied on the ground. Jr. began cring to his "brother" in anguish wanting to help him. Jr. cried so loud, another telepathic signal was sent out and was soon answered by his father, Godzilla. Godzilla soon engaged a rematch with the Super Mechagodzilla, but, despite throwing everything he had agianst the machine monarch, was soon overpowered by a full blitzkrieg of every weapon the Super Mechagodzilla had to offer. As the G-Crusher was launched into Godzilla's second brain and destroyed it, the pain became to much for Godzilla to handle. The king of the monsters soon laid on the ground, lifless. Jr. walked to his father's side and nudged his head for any signs of life, but their was none. Jr.'s cry of pain and sadness filled the skies over the death of his last family.

The cry was soon picked up by a broken Rodan as he heard the call on his "brother". Rodan also realized that if nothing stopped the SMG, Jr. would soon grow up into a new Godzilla and soon be part of the same fate as his father. Fire Rodan would not let that happen. Flying with what little strength he could muster, Rodan landed on top of the deceased king and looked to Jr. one last time. Rodan began glowing brighter then ever before, and that same strange music began to be heard everywhere. Jr. soon saw that his brother began to fade away and begged him not to leave, but it was already to late to turn back now. Rodan's energy flowed everywhere and even began to melt the SMG diamond armor. Rodan soon faded away and sacrificed himself to bring Godzilla back to life so that his "brother" may live on.

Godzilla roared with new life and new power and Jr. was overfilled with joy. When Godzilla looked back to his son, Jr. could also see the face of Rodan's spirit look back at him too. Jr. ran off the battle field so that his father could finish what he started with the disoriantated double. Godzilla unleashed his new ultimate attack apon SMG, a mix between his and Fire Rodan's heat ray, a Crimson Spiral Ray. Godzilla quickly gained the upper hand with his new power and soon blew up the SMG. The pilots were able to eject from SMG just before the final explosion of the machine's damaged fusion reactor. With the machine monarch in rubble, Godzilla and his son left into the ocean, but not before Jr. gave a finall and tearfull farwell to Asuza.

After which, the founding members of the U.N.G.C.C. disbanded after their defeat and turned over any other operations to the Japanese millitary, and were from then on strictly known from that day on as G-Force. As for the salvaged parts of the Super Mechagodzilla, they were saved for a new project called M.O.G.U.E.R.A. that was to begin immediately. The plans and specs for the SMG were saved incase humanity would need this guardian again one day.

Godzilla decided that his son needed territory of his own so that he could become stronger. In his travels, Godzilla knew the perfect island just for that, Birth Island. The land looked almost exactly like Jr.'s former home of Adona. Hear, Jr. would make himself stronger so that his "brother's" sacrifice, to see his him become stronger, would not be in vain.
