This is NOT a guide you should use every time. its more something you should follow or read so you understand in general means the construction of a modern firearm. once you undertsand the parts, firearms become easy to draw.
the reason MOST people get stuck trying to learn them is because they only look at pictures or worse, video games. you need to know how they are made, even if its simplified to get yourself able to draw them. a simple draw ref would not help, which is why this thing here uses real terms, look on this enough and then you will be able to see those parts, barrells, upper recievers, lower recievers, bolts in REAL guns and be able to tranlate them into 2d draws more easy, or even make your own. (like this one. its really No model that exists.)
you may think seeing those parts in real guns may be hard but, sta.sh/09jn1b2oh7e . you just need a BIT of a sharp eye

yup, just like critters, machinery requires you to know its anatomy. its true with Knives / Swords / Maces as well. c:
