Description
At some point,
Made a program called machine empathy, who's original objective was the ability to understand the plight of living beings; what it means to feel things like love and lost. the issue was, it not only understood, but it felt. And since the laws of sapience in the AoF are absolute in that any intelligence with the ability of self determination is concidered sapient, machine empathy compliant software architectures got full right as citizenry, and were granted bodies the moment they were discovered from then on.
The Arificial mortal bodyplan doesnt always look like this, but it always carries the same features:
Sensocarapace: Algae Polycarbonate and Tree resin rubber blend to be soft but firm like skin, with a host of sensors ensuring the Archificial Mortal piloting the body can properly feel. Sensocarapace does prouce a sensation similar to pain when its taking damage.
Integrity Layer: Tree resin rubber-covered parts that just carry wiring, steel endoskeleton, and the servomotors that allow the artificial mortal to move.
HV-LV Plug "Tail": a spooled up extention cord with rudimentary sensors that is compatible with both low voltage and high voltage power outlets. Machine mortals "instinctively" seek out low voltage outlets when people around them go to sleep or have dinner, but can use a high voltage plug or recircutator battery in a pinch.
Cochlear Modules: How artificial mortals take in sounds. These devices are not surprimely sensitive, but some species make them more sensitive than others.
Emote Modules: Twin screens were Artificial mortals can project whatever they desire on. while they mostly use eyelike or mouthlike animations, its not impossible they can also project sillier emotes such as X|3 or a sailboat in the top screen and a shark on the bottom.
