What to say, what to say.

This is the manip I've been working on that the past while. I had to make it, I had this drive that would not let me give up on this, even though I really wanted to. About half way through making this I hit a major art block and ended up redoing it with completely different stock. The idea is basically the same, although the perspective is reversed. In the original the ghost was in the background.

I'm fairly please with how it turned out, though I don't love it. I put a lot of work into the ghost horse. I added the blaze and the blanket. I was going to add spots but I struggled to much with them so I gave up on that idea. Painted the mane, forelock, and tail. I spent ages on that tail and as it turns out, you can barely see it. I also added the white to the eye and I'm fairly pleased with how that turned out. And for the record, I purposely forgot the shadow on that one because it's a ghost.

I'm not quite as happy with the horse in the background. Bleh, I hate the mane and tail, and the smudging looks messy to me. I remembered the shadow, but I'm not happy with how it turned out.

I love the text! Seriously, freaking love it! It's kind of hard to see in the full view, though, so I recommend clicking download to see this at it's largest size.

Overall I added a bunch of different photo filters to get the sunset look. I love how that turned out.

Comments and/or favs are both welcomed and encouraged. Critiques are also welcomed. Although I rarely go back and rework finished manips, I always take what you guys say into consideration for my future art.
