I'm pretty pleased with how this one turned out. I saw the horse picture and the song "Stand" by Rascal Flatts popped into my head, so I decided to do something with it.

The background blending was pretty simple. I'm getting good at adding mountains, I think. I had to add a reflection this time, but that was easy. With the horse, I adjusted the colour just a tiny bit, painted in most of the tail and almost all of the mane. Although I'm not 100% happy with how the mane and tail turned out, I don't hate them.

The problems with the horse came when I had to do the feet (I hate feet ). I'm horrible at putting anything in water. I used smoke brushes to erase part of the feet, and did my best to add some small splashes. It's not great, but I'm still proud of myself there, since I'm getting better.

I'm not 100% happy with the text, especially the smaller part, but I still like it.

Nicely put together, you have done well fitting things in the right perspective and size, the lighting is great and so are the reflections on the water. I think the placement of the horse is conflicting a bit with the reflections from the rocks as it looks a bit awkward under the horses nose, but I may just be petty! I think as far as water is concerned you have done well, nothing really sticks out to me. Just keep praticing.

This is soo good! I feel awful. I just realized that you're watching me, but I'm not watching you Your gallery is amazing! I love the rain! (what brush do you use?) and the mane and tail! The lyrics fit perfectly with the theme of the manip! I also like how the text is faded into the water Great job!!

I agree with all of the above mentioned :] the horse should be more wet, but we'll just say that is just started raining ;] for youe feet in the water add a bit of a ripple effect to them Go see 3Heartcore's on tiptoes for an idea, also adding it around the big text would be cool. Everything else looks pretty amazing. I love the colors and the horse <3

Thank you. I'm going to search for more water brushes so that next time I work with water I can make the horse wetter. And I get what you're saying about the ripples. I'll look for brushes to help with that, too, 'cause I can't think of any other way to do that. I'm glad you like it.

haha yes trying without brushes results in imposibility. though I think I did pretty good in my rainy picture and the one I tried ripples in.... That was before I actually figured out how to properly download brushes though ;]
