Description:
If he wanted to, Metataurus could be a god. He's the single most powerful thing that the universe has ever seen, strong enough to wipe out armies and obliterate worlds. He has no desire to do such things though. Not without motivation at least. The feared rogue creation of the Nentuson, Metataurus is an overwhelmingly powerful creature, so powerful he easily escaped his creators. More than anything else, Metataurus craves solitude. He finds that other beings are too frightened by him for normal interactions, and this has sent him to the corners of the galaxy seeking isolation. His only contact with other sentient creature there are gifts and offerings sent by the Nentuson, who he both terrifies and amazes. All alone in deep space, Metataurus has developed three distinct personalities, each occupying one of his heads. The head with horns that jut forward calls itself Ethos. It is self-obsessed, its only concern over how much respect other creatures give Metataurus and how much they should give him. It is angry and arrogant, a focused core of pride. The head with horns that curve backwards is known as Pathos. It holds all Metataurus's emotions, both for itself and others. It wallows in self-pity because the other heads almost never listen to it and pities other for what it is forced to do to them. Even as Metataurus tear apart landscapes and cities, Pathos will spew constant apologies to the victims of his destruction. The central and main head- the one with straight horns- has become known as Logos. It is cold and emotionless, relying solely on logic. It could be considered the ruling head, the firmest in argument and the stubbornest in stance. It often controls Metataurus's actions in the end. These personalities will fight and squabble among each other, but never let their inner conflict endanger Metataurus. They can fight and act as one when it's needed. They refer to themselves as siblings, calling each other 'brother' and the like. As an overall being, Metataurus is much like his creators, the Nentuson. He has vast knowledge and power, yet easily grows bored. This is half the reason he will take up the Nentuson on their requests to wipe out civilizations. Not only does the destruction entertain him, but he likes to toy with foes, using only a fraction of his power to keep them at bay as he converses with them. He's developed a game over time. He will challenge any and all defenders he may face to convince each of his heads why he should stop. Pathos is always sold right away, Ethos can be convinced by the cunning and strong-willed, but Logos has never changed his mind. No world has ever survived an attack by Metataurus. Can Earth?

Like all Nentuson creations, Metataurus has cobalt blue blood.

Powers:
-Psychic: Metataurus is a powerful psychic; he has almost limitless telekinesis, able to lift things many times his own weight; entire armies, other giants, artificial structures, pieces of the terrain, energy attacks, and elemental forces can all be gripped by the power of his superior mind; he once even shifted the whole of a small planet in a moment of anger, Ethos seizing control from his 'brothers'; this ability also allows him to levitate himself; Metataurus can also project his thoughts, speaking directly into the minds of others; he can also pick of thoughts directed at him; this allows him to step completely over any language barrier; it's not known if Metataurus can do things like read thoughts against the thinker's will or influence the mind; he may simply lack these abilities, or he may just choose not to use them
-Energy Arcs: Metataurus can fire great arcs of pale blue energy from the rocky spires on his shoulders; these blast of power pack enough punch to jolt monsters clean off their feet
-Eye Bolts: Metataurus can fire a rapid stream of dark blue bolts from each of his six eyes; individually, these blast do little, but in large numbers they are a dangerous assault
-Energy Barrier: an invisible coat of energy wraps around Metataurus's body; this energy shield will disperse rays and beams harmlessly around his form, protecting him from almost all forms of energy attacks; only an extremely powerful attack can penetrate this barrier; Metataurus can also influence this thin sheet of energy, able to fire a vaporous beam of brilliance from any point on his body; this gaseous blast has extreme pushing power and moderate heat
-Shock Wave: by mixing his energy barrier and psychic influence, Metataurus can send out devastating shock waves by clapping his hands or stomping his forelegs; these blast of raw force level everything and leave nothing standing; one of his most effective and brutal attacks
-Rocky Hide: Metataurus's energy shield as offers no protection against physical attacks; this doesn't mater much, because his hide is thick, dense, and stone-like; to try and breech his skin with mere claws and fangs is like trying to punch through a mountain; it can be done, but it's not an easy task

Bio:
Long ago, eons in the past, the Nentuson existed as a young, foolish race. For as long as any of them could remember, the species was at war within itself, their homeland tore apart by battle and genocide. But not all of them took part in the civil conflict. Band together by a high power, a united consciousness that linked them to each other, a small group of Nentuson birthed the science the race would become infamous for- bioengineering. Creating a trio of creatures that have been lost to legend, this small band of gifted individuals unleashed their creations and wiped out the warring factions of their race. With the conflict over, what remained of the species united under the gifted band, who educated them in their new trademark science and assimilated them into the hive. With their number increasing as the new order set in and their home planet ruined by the war, the Nentuson needed another home. Launching conquests on the closest neighboring world, their forces lead by the original trio of bioweapons, they seized enough land for their race to prosper. They were ambitious though, and craved even more new territory, more land for expansion and innovation. They had tasted technological enlightenment and wanted more. They needed a new weapon though. The original trio, although beloved, were battered and weakened. They wouldn't do any longer. Gathering all the labor and resources they could, the Nentuson started a new project. They wanted something so powerful it would let them rule over all. Although they had just perfected the creation of the organic weapons, they put everything they had into this one project, a species-wide effort. No individual was left out of his creation, mainly because they couldn't afford to. After years of work, their ultimate weapon was complete- Metataurus. This supreme being surpassed all expectations, able to clear out entire planets within a few hours and nigh invincible in battle. There was one fatal flaw in it though, something the Nentuson had never even considered in its creation.

It thought for itself.

Tired of being ordered around and doing dirty work that it didn't enjoy, Metataurus went rogue. He destroyed his prison and prisoners, escaping into deep space. He obliterated anything and anyone that tried to stop him. The Nentuson were shaken by the betrayal, and realized what they had done wrong. They couldn't contain a beast of great power and intellect. Even intellect by itself was dangerous, something they proved quite well. Power without wit though, that was easy to control. For that day, they only made stupid, mindless beast that would follow their every order. They also refrained from ever making anything as remotely powerful as Metataurus again, instead relying on numbers and tactic. Although he caused great devastation and fear, Metataurus was revered just as much as feared among the Nentuson, a sort of legend or similar figure. That wasn't to say he was gone though. No, he actually stuck quite close to the Nentuson empire, happy to keep to himself and simply move somewhere else whenever he expanded. He might have disliked slavery, but he held no other ill will against his creators. They did give him life after all. In fact, the juggernaut was even requested to do favors for the Nentuson, complying without complaint as long as he got some spoils from whatever raid or conquest they asked of him. The Nentuson feared him, they held onto this casual alliance, knowing it could be usefully one day, their trump cards. As the Nentuson empire grew larger and more powerful, they needed less and less favors from Metataurus. Decades went between such favors, then centuries, then millenniums. They never lost contact though, sending him small offerings from each successful conquests.

This proved a wise move when they failed multiple times to take Earth eons later.

After many months of dormancy, the Nentuson reemerged with a vengeance. Early one cool morning, a day that would be remembered for all of human history began- Invasion Day. Roving pack of Strider were released all across the globe, a vicious new creature at their lead. Massive swarms of Nentuson Beasts blotted the sky, blocking out the sun. Taken off guard by the worldwide assault, the G.A.K.F. had few options. Men, jets, and tanks would surely be wiped out. But perhaps the giants of Earth could act as their last hope. Cutting off power to the Giant's Gates and freeing all the captive kaiju, the G.A.K.F. readied their own titans and hoped that the world's monsters would be enough. Sure enough, battle broke out across the map, natural, mutant, and engineered beast alike taking on the alien threat. As Oscar piloted Avenger into the American heartland to face Rustred and Arc along with Sid, Jake, Plume, Zelus, and Reaper were prepared for transport.

Watching from afar, Metataurus decided now was the time to move.

Having landed on the Yucatan Peninsula, the massive being floated into the air, ready to descend upon the G.A.K.F. base and render it to twisted metal and mangled flesh. A powerful nearly ripped him from the sky. Challenged the three-headed juggernaut, Aeolshu, Araad, and Spars took up their duty as protectors of Earth and faced Metataurus. Smirking, Ethos claimed 'they' could use a warmup. The last of of the Five Children of Heaven and Earth attacked. Metataurus was pelted with elemental attacks, heat scorching his hide, stone pummeling his flesh, and wind tearing at his eyes and footing. Even against the full force of the remainder of the Five, the massive being didn't falter. The Five tried a different tactic, combining their powers. Aeolshu's winds carried boulders and heatwaves at high speeds, Araad's vines restrained the goliath as he was battered by a storm of superheated air, and Spars delivered a massive ball of condensed heat, practically a miniature star, to the giant while rocks and winds defended them from the brutal explosion. But as the smoke cleared, Metataurus still stood, unharmed and unamused. Stating playtime was over, the alien creation seized the Five's elements as they attacked him again. Araad was engulfed in a searing heatwave, burning away her vegetation and melting her stones into slag. Aeolshu was clobbered by great boulders, knocking him from the sky. A fierce tempest swept Spars off his feet and hurled him into the ocean. While the Five were down, Metataurus reared up and stomped his forelegs against the earth, a devastating pulse of power ripping outwards! The landscape was shredded and the Five scattered like helpless newborns. His foes defeated, Metataurus turned to leave Aeolshu, Spars, and Araad sprawled across the shattered peninsula, all three unconscious.

The juggernaut was mildly surprised to find Jake, Plume, Zelus, and Reaper on the shoe, ready to face him.

Alerted to Metataurus's presence by the battle, the G.A.K.F. had arrived to deal with what they could only assume was their biggest threat. Dismissing his plans being derailed, Logos simply stated that its would all be the same. He would kill them and then destroy the base. Then, with a sneer, Ethos added that they should be more wary who they befriend. As if acting on a cue, Zelus and Reaper- both secret Nentuson agents- turned on Jake and Plume! Surprised, Jake was almost skewered on one of Zelus's poisoned blades. Plume was tackled to the ground by the larger lizard, but soon both wrestled with equal ferocity. Ignoring the two battles, Metataurus continued, walking across the sea with the use of his telekinesis.

The ocean pulsed by a terrible groan.

Metataurus paused, feeling the sheer power in the blast of sound. This could be interesting, he mused to himself. Suddenly disrupted by a titanic shape moving through it, the ocean bubbled and Tannyus breached the surface! The terrestrial juggernaut slammed into the extraterrestrial one, jaws closing around a beefy forearm. For the first time in many millenia, Metataurus grunted in pain, the massive mosasaur's teeth punching through his hide. Dislodging the oceanic terror, Metataurus looked with fascination at his own blood, barely remembering the last time it was spilled. As Tannyus lunged again, the Nentuson creation send him screeching back into the ocean with a barrage of his eye blasts. The two giants-among-giants fought like, Tannyus unable to get close without being repelled by eyes blast or energy arcs and Metataurus unable to attack the beast as he took to the deep for refuge. The juggernaut received a nasty surprise when Murthrax joined the battle, chomping down on his leg before diving. Time and pride being wasted, Ethos and Logos ignored Pathos's pleads to go easy on Tannyus and parted the ocean with a clap of his hands. Gripping the stunned Tannyus as the behemoth plunged for the bare seabed, the psychic monster wrapped Murthrax tightly around his neck. With a flick of his finger, Metataurus sent the Earth's biggest kaiju flying! With a wail, Tannyus and Murthrax cratered the earth almost a mile away, hundreds of meters inland. Leaving the monster mosasaur and his eel companion to die under his own weight, Metataurus moved on, determined to destroy the G.A.K.F. base as the Nentuson had asked of him. As he closed in on the great structure on the ocean, one last giant appeared to interrupt his mission.

Avenger.

Fresh from defeating Rustred and heavily damaged by the clash, Oscar now faced the most powerful kaiju known yet. Even no he literally had no chance of success, or even survival, the iron willed pilot opened fire. Intrigued by Oscar's spirit and fire, Metataurus entertained him, only toying with the war machine and its pilot. Seeing that he couldn't hope to win within minutes into the battle, Oscar tried instead to convince the sentient giant to spare the Earth and turn on his conquering creators. Chuckling, Metataurus challenged him to his cruel game. If he could convince all three heads, he would listen. If not, he would die, his world following afterwords. To insure there would be no cheating, the juggernaut crippled Avenger with a clench of his mind, imploding the anti-kaiju machine's lower body. With only his desperate words to rely on now, Oscar accepted the terms of the game. Pathos was easy to convince. He agreed almost instantly, wanting to punish his "brutish life-givers", as he said, for their crimes. Ethos was convinced as well, but after a much more bitter struggle. The vain head at first refused to listen to such a "lowly speck", but Oscar promised he could get fame and glory for it. Reluctantly listening, Ethos was promised boundless reverence for wiping out the most powerful race in the universe. He was totally sold when Oscar mentioned that many of planets might even worship him. That left Logos. Coldly, the head ensured the mecha pilot that there was nothing he could offer him that the Nentuson couldn't. Fame? He already had enough. Money? He had no need of such things. Land? He could have the whole of Earth once the Nentuson had stripped it of all it was worth. There were no logical reason he should listen to the foolish young man, the emotionless head firmly claimed. Oscar though, and thought even harder after that, but he couldn't do anything but secretly agree with Logos.

Then the pilot had the most brilliant idea. The simplest, most obvious, most brilliant idea.

Logos was outvoted.

Oscar boldly told Metataurus he should turn on the Nentuson because two beat one, the opinion of Ethos and Pathos beat that of Logos alone. The juggernaut was still for a moment, and Oscar feared he would be obliterated on the spot. Then, although tiny, although barely noticeable, a smile spread across the titan's central face. Without a word, Metataurus ascended into the sky, Ethos grinning maniacally and Pathos sighing in relief. Minutes after the giant disappeared into the clouds, the orange glow of massive explosions spread across the heavens. Oscar knew that the Nentuson fleet high above Earth's atmosphere had been destroyed. The world had been spared. And all because a god's simple game had finally been conquered.

After destroying the Earth invasion force, the Nentuson never contacted Metataurus again. That was fine by him, he never really needed to help them. It was just a way to entertain himself. He would find another eventually. Still roving the universe, hopping from one uninhabited wasteland to the next, the juggernaut searched. He's not sure what exactly he's looking for, only that he'll have to search far and wide to find it. Logos expects it's a place that will finally accept him. On uneventful trips through the void of space, Metataurus sometimes finds his split mind wondering back to Earth. He wonders if the lush planet might have embraced him with open arms in a different world, one where they weren't set against each other. In particular, he remembers a singly young man. This human is stupidly determined, and helplessly willful, yet he did what no other being ever could. He beat Metataurus's game. He beat Metataurus.

And for that, he would be remembered fondly by the wandering god.

Additional Information: The three heads and two tails are my little homages to King Ghidorah. When I originally conceived this guy, I wanted to slap on some fan-like wings too, but I figured that was going too far. And yes, his heads are named and characterized after the Aristotelian Triad, Aristotle's three appeals.

VERY neat and interesting. Like Typhos a bit better yet, but this thing is badass. Think I know who'll be used in my next MM's World vs. New World...
