Although Laurie Pendergast was once a brilliant FBI agent, her own blind ambition and foolishness turned her into a feral beast of instinct. Like Sampson Gardener was consumed by the savage Colterus, Pendergast was taken over by her own demon, a mindless mountain of flesh, fur, scales, and armor that exists only to attack and kill everything around it. Pincerghast is a monster of frightening size and strength, her hulking form nigh unstoppable when advancing. Her usual tactic is typically just to bash opponents until they stop moving. With effective for a monstrosity like her, there is more lurking within her damaged mind. The genius that was Laurie Pendergast's still existed deep in Pincerghast. Like Colterus occasionally shows human cleverness, Pincerghast cam surprise foes with brief bursts of intellect. But while Gardener was simply a very smart man, Laurie was a trainer fighter, a human weapon. At random and without warning, Pincerghast can be filled with focused combat knowledge and will attack weak or vulnerable points with no mercy. With Laurie's wit and the might of a giant, Pincerghast is as unpredictable as she is devastating on the battlefield.

-Mass: her most important and obvious advantage, Pincerghast is enormous, coming in at a certified 'holy shit' size; her endurance and strength are nearly twofold of an average-sized kaiju
-Forepaw: one of her deadliest weapons, Pincerghast's freakishly long, bear-like right front limb is a versatile tool of harm and destruction; the sturdy claws that tip long fingers can slash open flesh, the great spurs of the side can cleave away meat in bleeding strips, and the stiff claw-like appendage sprouting from its side can knock skulls in
-Claw of Death:her namesake and most dangerous aspect, a humungous lobster pincer end's Pincerghast's left arm; not only can this heavy, toothed weapon bash and clamp shut with inescapable force, but it also was an odder use; in what's labelled as her 'pocket burst', Pincerghast cannot fully close her claw without bursting a large air pocket that's caused by an interior deformity; and its 'burst', is a sonic boom-like explosion of air; this has multiple uses; one is to simply set it off near a foe and batter them with the force alone; can knock back and disorientate, but not much else; another, more unconventional, use is to take rocks, trees, or rubble into the great claw; then, when the claws are snapped, the debris is mulched and launched with the speed, power, and spread of a kaiju-sized shotgun blast; most direct, and perhaps devastating, use is simply to clamp down and unleash the full fury of the pocket burst on bare flesh, shredding it and stripping away skin

Since their reemergence, Laurie secretly obsessed over kaiju and their extraordinary ability. She had to keep this intense interest a secret though. It would certainly be looked down upon as distracting, even dangerous by her superiors. Only her husband, John Pendergast, knew of this obsession. So, when offered the chance to work side by side with the world famous Jake, Plume, Avenger, and Sid, she accepted immediately. For weeks, she helped the G.A.K.F. improve their facilities and methods, inspecting security, structure, and weaponry. She quickly became popular around the base, her slim build, deep tan, and thick dirty blonde hair certainly not hindering her status.

But the FBI agent had a secret agenda. Although all giants fascinate her, two in particular stood out- Sid and Colterus. They were once human. That proved the line between man and monster could be blurred. Laurie wanted to blur that line, thin it just a touch. She wanted the incredible power of the kaiju. Stealing a sample of Sid's blood and putting all her considerable brilliance to the test, she set out for a formula that could blend DNA flawlessly, trying to perfect the accidental production of Sid and Colterus. The original mixture may have been lost in the explosion, but she believed that it still existed in the giants it created. She was proven right when she managed to extract the one-in-a-billion accidental miracle from the blood sample. For almost a month, she used the mixture on herself, enhancing herself with various animal DNA. She became stronger, faster, gained longer stamina and healing. But her judgement was impaired. In a sort of high from her new abilities and changing body, she made a terrible mistake.

She infused herself directly with kaiju DNA.

The genetic material from giants almost beyond animal and in the realm of gods was too much for her body to contain, so it mutated horribly. Her soft hair became jagged pelt, scales burst from her tanned skin, and tough orange-red armor stretched over her body. Nearly sinking the G.A.K.F. headquarters under her new, monstrous girth, Pendergast was now her own obsession. She was a monster. The newly birthed terror immediately attacked the G.A.K.F. kaiju. Taken off guard, Jake, Sid, and Plume were slaughtered and Avenger was wrecked. Leaving three unconscious monsters and a mangled machine behind her, the deformed beast splashed into the ocean and headed northwest. The other once-human monsters from her 'miracle' formula set off alarms in her head, instinctive rivals for having the same birth as she did. With one already unmoving, the twisted juggernaut- dubbed 'Pincerghast'- headed for Giant's Gate One and Colterus. Another name was the 'Laurisuarus.' That particular name, of course, came from Alex Shepheard. It was good in good intentions, to remind everyone that Laurie was still under there somewhere and to try and lighten the mood.

That didn't stop John Pendergast from giving him a black eye.

Horrified at what happen to his wife after being told by Teach himself, the distraught schoolteacher spent a fortune to travel almost all the way across the country overnight. When he finally found his wife, the beast that remained of her was locked in battle with Colterus. The beetle had also sensed competition and escaped Giant's Gate One to meet Pincerghast in Seattle. The two once-human monsters fought mercilessly, mindlessly tearing inter each other. Pincer', much larger, stronger, and more durable, had the clear upper hand. It would not remain a two-on-two duel for long though. The ground rumbled and 'Ghast fell into a large pit as the street collapsed. Half buried, the female abomination was vulnerable.

Frequent rivals working together, Colterus and the mole attacked the monstrous behemoth together. Trapped and outnumbered, Pincerghast seemed doomed until her human combat training kicked in. Tearing through several large waterlines, the freakish chimera floated herself free, took out the Sub-Titan is a brutal kidney punch followed by a choke hold, and proceeded to beat Colterus down with brute animal strength. The beetle was broke and bleeding heavily by the time the mix-and-match horror was done. Both enemies down and out, 'Ghast moved in for the kill.

A double-footed kick to the face drove her back.

Howling his comeback to the world, Pouh-Wung was there! Guardian instincts driving him crazy, he had finally arrived to smash the thing that was causing the Earth so much distress. Although Pincer' was far heavier and durable, the lung made relatively quick work of her. Unashamed to fight a worn down foe and use the half-conscious Sub-Titan as a club, Pouh brought the monstrosity to her knees, ramming her threw building after building just for the sheer fun of it. The former-hero destroyed more of Seattle that the bug, the mole, and the abomination did combined. Finally satisfied once Pincerghast was sprawled limply across the slain cityscape and had several of her own spines driving into her rump, Pouh-Wung took his leave, a devastated city and countless dead behind him.

John Pendergast was one of the casualties.

Judged too violent and difficult to be kept in the Giant's Gates, 'Ghast was transported to a more makeshift place to keep her contained- the Wolf's Den. Using missiles to carve a broad flow of lava down the middle of the great crater, the G.A.K.F. split the volcanic pit between Lykothop and Pincerghast. The two constantly try to attack each other, but are quickly repelled by the flames and molten rock.

Background Information: Laurie Pendergast is, of course, a rather clumsy tribute to Aloysius Pendergast. FBI agent, really damn smart, kinda eccentric, but has dirty blonde hair instead of bleach blonde and a tan instead of being borderline albino. Oh, and boobs. Pincergast herself echos a bit of Mbwun/Kothoga and channels Katahdin from Prophecy for the deformed half of the face.
