Part of my Fast Forward: Battle Nexus Saga where the turtles do their math and discover that it was the year of a Battle Nexus Tournament. Wanting Cody to meet the Ultimate Daimyo, they travel to the Battle Nexus only to find the nexus is ruins. (Since the Battle Nexus natives are Tengu, they age only once every seven "third-earth" years. This means that the Ultimate ninja would be around "fifteen"... assuming that he was around "eight" when last shown in the show).

Long story short: The Ultimate Daimyo was assasinated many years before and once his son became the new Daimyo everything hit the fan, because a piece of Drako was still inside him and the dragon took over his body. Fortunately, Ue-Sama's childhood friend, Mitsu (nicknamed Lotus Blossom by the prince as a joke), spent years leading a rebellion against the dragon in hopes of saving Ue-Sama, who was her "boyfriend." With the help of the turtles and Cody, they manage to defeat Drako and free Ue-Sama from his subconscious prison but with a price.

This piece shows how even though he was freed and made sane, Ue-Sama was forever physically altered by the experience.

**For the record, Mitsu "Lotus Blososm" is a cannon character. Mitsu was the leader of a rebellion against Lord Norinaga in TMNT III. She had a mutually romantic relationship with Norinaga's son, Kenshin. Lotus Blossom was a female ninja from the 1987 cartoon who was known for her calling card - a lotus blossom. Although they had replaced her with Karai, I thought it would be cool to combine her w/Mitsu. So basically her name is Mitsu but Ue-Sama calls her Lotus Blossom because she loves the flowers and as children would call her a delicate flower (never mind that she could kick his butt any day).***
