Why thank you. I am tackling straps today, gonna put an ex over the front at the hems. (I did my Stitching and spreading of the material in the back instead the sides)

Did you use a sewing machine? Lovely job on the bellbottoms. Sometimes I take apart clothes I don't like or ones that don't fit me, and make something else out of them by hand.

That is so cool. I'm considering entrelac... It doesn't look impossible.
Good luck to you on your next projects!

I'd definitely recommend the knitty pattern I showed you. I thought it was easy to follow and got to learn how to pick up stitches, purl through the back loop, and the correct way to ssk (I'd been doing it wrong up until a couple weeks ago.. oops). I'm guessing you know most of those already, but good luck to you if you try it anyway! And I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have or offer other commentary about it.

Haha, I had fancied up a few other articles of clothing (mostly T-shirts) years ago, but never wore any of them at all either. These got regular use for a year or so, then got buried among other stuff as I kept transporting them between home and my dorm. I really should dig them out again now that you mention it...

Thanks. I purposely sought out one with a paisley feel to it.

I am obsessed with doing this to my jeans, you did a really great job with these, I like the idea of using the same fabric for the patch.

Thanks. I saw the plaid & velveteen ones in your gallery and I think they're really neat! I'm not usually a fan of plaid but I like what you did with it. It's noticeable, but not overwhelming because it blends nicely with the rest of the pant material.
