these skirts are bashed off some other armor(was in bits bin) so keep your eyes out.
even here in usa, PE can be a pain to find, is always $$$$ and a b%$# to apply to the model.

Well, I can always make them myself out of palastic sheet and bariouss bits and pieces but... I'm not pissed off enough yet.
And yeah, I know something about it, especially about applying. My use of metal parts has been reduced to metal barrels.

yea you could do that as well. for these 62, it wouldn't be that hard to make either.
ahhhhh, still metal barrels are nice!

Thanks!
about once a year i paint something in a crazy color(done pink, blue, red) so it was time to try out yellow. just about everyone has built this classic kit, so i thought the yellow might make it stand out. it was a pain to paint, but it does stick out. hopefully after more work it will all come toghter.

Where did the figure sitting on the turret come from? Never seen one like that before.
π: 0 β©: 1
enc86 In reply to WereOwl-In-Wisconsin [2015-01-20 17:47:20 +0000 UTC]
she is a true Frankenstein and still needs a tonnage of work. she is mashed up from several different figurines.
head/torso/knees: master box civilian usa woman set
"shorts'/butt: German tiger 1 crew
arms: JSDF figure and woman set
boots/gloves: anyone's guess,random from the bits box.
AK: master box terrorist set.
more sanding, gap filling and epoxy sculpting are need to get her to the point she can be painted, but hopefully with that work, the outcome will be acceptable.

'Frankenstein'?Β Be careful, Victor, there are forces at work that Man was not meant to tamper with! But if you must play at being the Post-Modern Prometheus, just remember what happened to the original Prometheus. Tread lightly, you have been warned.
On the other hand, if you need somebody to play Igor, I'd gladly work for almost free.

I like the turret dude and the fender look pretty neat
Did u bend the turret basket abit or just leave it straight?
π: 0 β©: 1
enc86 In reply to foley1310 [2015-01-18 22:43:36 +0000 UTC]
thanks dude.
the turret basket has a little bit of a curve to it and was a huge pain in my ass. the side brackets are thicker styrene sheet and had to be cut with a curve to match the turret. the longer section of basket was from thinner plastic stock, so it would bend with the curve.

foley1310 In reply to enc86 [2015-01-18 23:23:25 +0000 UTC]
Curve on straigh edge is really annoying
Im preping my plan on the talgeese with some straight design on curve surface and im already stress out how am i gonna execute this

enc86 In reply to foley1310 [2015-01-19 04:09:27 +0000 UTC]
yea it really really is.
yea i could see that being a nightmare. my only advise is to use paper or thin sheets to come up with a pattern, then cut the thicker plastic.
