Soarin and the newly acquired Lily Blossom!
D I think they make a cute couple. It was a lot of work styling Soarin's hair... so what do you think, hit or miss?

what brand of clay do you use when adding onto a pony? I have tried all sorts and it either has to be baked, or looks terrible when added on and is way too fragile @.@

I use Sculpey. Baked at 275 for 5 minutes. Epoxy like Apoxie Sculpt or Milliput works too.

Oh yeah, pony goes in oven. Only bake what needs to be baked. I actually have little, pony-sized baking 'sheets'/'trays' from a Shrinky Dink oven that no longer works-- it's big enough for one pony. Don't cook the body if it has no clay on it-- the body is the easiest part to melt (in the neck. I deformed my Caramel by touching his warm neck) And make sure you cook them on a flat surface-- Setting on the feet, or the flat part of the neck.

Yep! They can get soft in the oven, but as long as they are allowed to cool to normal temp without being bothered, they keep shape.

The hair looks great! The only thing is, is that pencil that is still showing on his eye?
