Description
Here is the first WIP of my Luna, who is built off a Rainbow Dash. I am using polymer clay to add onto the pony's base body, using her boots to give her some height. (Pictured with Applejack for comparison.)This is the first take, she will probably be redone before she becomes a finished work. Sculpting on the ponies gives me some trouble, I admit, I am not the best at it. But I do not think there is any way to make the same kind of customs without it.

Well, her head fell off and landed on her brow, which made a flat patch-- which is why you should always bake ponies on flat surfaces (feet, bottom of neck) but it wasn't bad enough that I would have to scrap her!

OKay, the whole "Friendship is Magic" thing is really getting into my brain... when I clicked onto this and saw AJ in with Luna, I seriously thought you'd put her there so Luna wouldn't get lonely while she was being made over.
Anyway, Luna looks great, I can't wait to see her when she's all done! <3 <3

Yes I do, but I do not want to buy an extra single for a head, and Luna has a bigger horn than the standard pony anyway

Thanks! I love customizing. I have lots more to do still on her but it will get there... it is very time consuming, sculpting and sanding.
