A real lyra toy is coming out in the fall along with Trixie, Nightmare Moon, Zecora, Vinyl Scratch, and a White Celestia. Just putting that out there incase people didn't know. C:

emm if i may suggest something about hair, Bonbons, you may want to be not very wet but, more "damp" you know? so itll be easier to work with, kind of curl them to the sides like SweetieBelle's and leave it to sit with maybe a small clip overnight
And Lyra's you may want to trim to a sorta mohawkish looking 'do and then curl the mane up a little

I use a detail paintbrush. I also collect dolls so it's the same brush I use for fine details on them.

Agreed! Someone was supposed to try to integrate revoltech joints. I wish they would! I want to but I don't know how... maybe I should try! It looks hard though...

Hair color is one thing, my other concern is make sure they are kept separate and don't end up mixing together.

Colors are kept separate in the hair? Take a look at my rehairing tutorial. Each plug of hair is a separate color, and you do them in rows or sections of hair. as long as that chunk of hair is one color, it won't mix together with another... ?

They are all made of other ponies... Lyra was a Twilight sparkle and Bonbon was a Pinkie Pie. You can see the process in my custom tutorials.
