Description
Rebel and i were discussing what might happen if a young Rover and Flyspur ended up trapped in her sci fi universe, a place where slavery is rampant and exotic species are prized. Not being from the area Flyspur would fin himself quite the target and would try to hide as much of his unusual features ae possible. I almost gave him a shave and human make up but i wanted it to still be identifiable. I may do an alternate version, thoughRelated content

Yep. It might be helpful since I think we went a bit light on descriptions. On second thought, we might want to edit to include a few more as we post.

Yeah. I was actually thinking that. Because when I am actually writing a story I'm heavy on descriptions to let the audience know exactly what the environment is like and try to be super immersive. But when I"m playing, not so much, again i'm usually playing between doing other things, so don't sit and think of how best to word things. That's one reason I wasn't super eager to post RPs. They're REALLY fun to play....but sometimes might not be as fun a read for outsiders. This one is, I think. But...you know...Some might not be. Like, when we are playing I totally know what Klate looks like, so you don't need to take the time to explain it to ME but you would to an audience. And like...I don't even know how far I go in before mentioning Rovers robot arm... But, yeah. We can add descriptions as we go. I guess that would work.

I think it would work, and most people reading it might be familiar with both our worlds. (Probably more familiar with yours, actually, since your characters are the main ones in this RP.)

Especially when he is still blue! I'm sure in real life he'd be more careful about that tail too. I thought about it and I don't know if they could find any shaving compliment that Flyspur wouldn't be absolutely terrified of.

And Flyspur would likely be too scared to get anything sharp close to him after getting that tattoo and having to deal with Rover's. I don't think he could sit still for a shave if he wanted to.

No doubt about it! Rover would still try to put on his brave, cocky facade. But Flyspur would be quite visibly terrified of everyone. He'd probably become a flincher too.

Thing is, Klate would probably take care of them, but eventually, he'd pass them off to someone else. Hirami's thirteen, which is probably the youngest Klate would take on.

And of course Rover would instantly try to get h8m to help them find the device. Especially once he found o7t they were pirates.

And if he really thought it was in Flyspurs best interest he would. But I bet he would still try to find a job as quickly as possible. He might also take advantage of that time of peace to learn about their new world. Once he understood all the rules his fast talking talents might kick in again.

Yeah. He would like the traveling and also the help8ng of slaves. I bet he would BEG Klate to stay. Hoping both that he would convince him yo find their artifact and because he wants to help their cause.

Then, of course he would be desperate to prove himself. That he and Flyspur were as capable as anybody.

And he'd come up with all kinds of excuses, like they could stay on the ship during dangerous missions until they learn the ropes. Or explaining how awesome Flyspur is at stealth and how perfect his arm is for certain tasks. Or how having a human kid could be to their advantage.

Although, having a whole ship full of people that aren't put to get them would in itself give him a sense of security. And knowing that they wouldn't sell him for any reason because of their mission itself would probably make him feel safe.
