Description
The long waited update of my TTOC character, Aura Blaze. Since I'm finally finished with anything TTNG related for a while, I can get back to working on another chapter of my characters origin, which currently I'm back to working on
I redid and revised his background and info without too many spoilers to his origin other than what you allready know of. And thanks to 's rendition of Aura's alien form, I decided to encorperate that look with my style ^_^
I added a character profile section as extra for his profile to add more character to blue, as well as TTOC profiles.

*Secret Info: At first had difficult time dealing with Aura's constant breaking of rules and going off on his own instead of fallowing orders. Knows and is uneasy of the “Inner Being” that Aura is born with. Originally a circus performer of the family team “The Flying Graysons” but orphaned in a criminal caused accident. He still holds feelings for Starfire but over time has allowed himself to let her go, as well as accept Aura for what he is and who he is..
Kori "Starfire" Anders (Warrior Princess and Aura's Girlfriend)
*Secret Info: Originally in love with Robin but it ended due to Robin's obsessions and controlling attitude, both remain close friends. Slowly fell for Aura over time and blossomed into a romance. She is an orphan and a Princess of her home planet Tameran. A very sensitive soul with a troubled past and betrayal within her own family. Her nanny Galfore is well knowledgeable of Alien Races…including Auranians.
Victor "Cyborg" Stone (2nd in Command of the Titans and Tech Expert)
*Secret Info: Originally a human nut was in a brutal car accident that resulted in robotic implants being surgically implanted to save his life. He is a former star athlete in high school. Subjected to public torment but found ways to deal with it through being a Titan and an example for kids. A devious half of the “Pranking duo” along with Beastboy.
Rachel “Raven” Roth: (Gifted Magician and Psychic)
*Secret Info: She’s a Demon Hybrid of Trigon and a human woman. Originally secluded from her friends, Raven slowly opened up to her comrades in time. Has no love for pranks against her from either of her friends. Secretly knows something of Aura’s emotions and weaknesses of his powers…
Garfield “Beast Boy” Logan: (Resident Prankster and Animal Shape Shifter)
*Secret Info: A human boy who was inflicted with a deadly disease but cured…and resulted of his physical changes and bestial appearance. Carefree and always out for fun, and at times leads to him getting into trouble with his friends. Being a ladies’ man, BB has bad luck with romance…with hilarious results. Has Aura in his crosshairs for his pranks a lot. In a relationship with Firanna but has some old feelings for Terra.
Tara “Terra” Markov: (Geomancy Expert and Former Apprentice to Slade)
*Secret Info: Originally befriended by the Titans in an intense show of power…as well as Slade. Betrayed the Titans as Slade’s apprentice and ultimately sacrificed herself to save them. Revived by unknown means and convinced to rejoin the team. Still harbors feelings for Beastboy and is envy of Firanna.
Katea “Firanna” Best: (Eletranian Islander and Pyrokenetic Master)
*Secret Info: A unique girl born and raised in hawaii, she's gifted with pyrokenisis and eletranian fire summoning from one of her parents. She has a bit of a dark past involving a certain Shadonian related incident as a younger teen that she prefers not to share...but someone may know and recognize and relate. Hot Tempered, passionate and a self proclaimed “Head Bitch In Charge” ,and Girlfriend of Beast Boy. Since they became close friends, she becomes Aura's right hand woman.
Rhianna Best: (Eletranian and Frostakinetic Master)
*Secret Info: Unknown*
Nikki “Gemeneye” Wilson: (Meta Hybrid and Close Quarter Fighting Master)
*Secret Info: She’s the 3rd child of Slade and was on the run with her mother the entire time to escape from him. Like her sister Rose, she's knowledgeable of multiple fighting styles and born with some of Slades metahuman abilities. Like Aura, she’s rebellious of Robin’s rules and often get herself in trouble for that. Secretly in a relationship with Red-X.
Christine “Shadow” : (Tamer-Azerathian Hybrid and Gypsy)
*Secret Info: A powerful being on the run from her step mother befriended by Raven and under her protection. Believed to be a link to a deadly power that is destined to be taken away but is safeguarded by Raven, Aura and her friends.
Justin (Dusk) Lunaste: (Winglore Hybrid and a wielder of Umbrakenisis)
*Secret Info: His mother is Chantrea “Twilight” Lunaste the Mortal Angel. Navajo Indian by blood but was born by a rape incident that Chantrea placed herself in place of one of the women she protected. Was found by Aura and Twilight and rescued from an orphanage. Born with wings like an angel and an uncanny ability to absorb and wield shadows as weapons. One of Aura’s Best friends and self proclaimed “Wing Man”.
Clarissa “Lighting” Harding: (Mutant Hybrid and Leader of Teen Titans South)
*Secret Info: Born with both near unlimited intelligence and speed that nearly rivals Kid Flash. Her suit is of her own invention that uses her bio-electrical energies she produces from her body as weapons. Researches in biology and an expert medic, Aura is one of the few people that know of her secret identity and no one else.
Fighting Style: Swordsmanship, Kickboxing. Weapon: Azure Phoenix (Broadsword infused with Auranian energies, a link to Aura’s past, non lethal but can be used in conjunction of Aura’s fighting style and power)
Powers: Blue Aura: Build up alien soul force to cause physical trauma and weaken or knock out opponents by physical force. Non lethal but damaging to undead and creatures of darkness.
White Essence: Use own soul alien energies to heal a person’s wounds with soothing alien energies. Cannot bring dead back to life can only recover mild to minor wounds for others. If being is corrupted by Shadonian taint, it can exorcise and eliminate the damage through purification via Azure Phoenix. It may not work if there is no spirit left in the being or if a curse is inflicted, demotic poession can’t be removed with white flame.
Trance: This is his trademark power. Extending his power through his body by tapping into his Auranian energy. Trance is induced in a metamorphosis of energy. He is physically tougher and stronger, as well as having inprooved versions of Aura Fire and Heal and Possessing abilities he never had before in normal form. This power is a dangerous wild card; it rapidly drains Aura's life force the longer he stays like that. Being half human is the reason why he can’t rely on this power a lot. But in a tight skint, it's worth it.
Flight: Aura can fly and levitate like Starfire, Raven. Though unable to reach the same speed as Starfire, Aura can still out maneuver and fly around enemies as a defensive or offensive move.
("Trance" only: Energy usage varies while flying)
Energy Blade: Since Auranian can shape and change their bodies at will, they are living weapons. Being a swordsman, Aura morph's his hands or legs into concentrated blades of energy. The damage is like being stabbed or slashed like a real sword but it is non-fatal.
(Trance only)
Strengths: *Above average human agility and endurance.
*Powers can be charged up for more intense effects
*Can transfer Alien energies to other beings to enhance their own abilities.
Weaknesses: *being half Auranian, Aura's powers are only at half their strength. Aura flame can't physically harm but can weaken and subdue opponents but harmful to those of tainted darkness (Dark version of Auranian and mortal enemies) and various demons and shadow creatures. Same said with the Azure phoenix, can't kill but can inflict trauma damage
*Naturally his kind can recover their powers quickly and heal, for him it takes roughly twice to three times longer to recover based on how much energy is spent. Sleeping recovers twice as much energy.
*Constant overuse of his powers is dangerous, and could potentially kill himself.
*If not in possession of his sword, his powers take double energy and he is susceptible to the Auranian Rage.
*His scar on his right arm is sensitive to fire and screams in pain when its heated too much cause of the car accident as a kid.
Auranian Based abnormalities.Soul Sap: If dying or drained of too much essence, Auranian's have "Vampire-like" Teeth which they can feed off of the “Soul Essence” from living beings. No blood is drawn from the being that is fed on, but the loss of strength is possible from consumption.
The Auranian Rage: because of his mixed blood, Aura has a weakness of his powers possibly consuming them when angered. The Auranian Rage is driven by pure fury wrought from the built up negative emotions and the clashing of his soul with his alien powers. Aura’s affliction can turn him into a cold hearted monster and wont hesitate to attack anyone. Only way to subdue the rage is to stab him in the heart with his own sword, the Azure Phoenix. It absorbs the built up energies and expels them as positive healing essence without doing physical harm.
Personality:Sensitive, considerate masked underneath his hot blooded attitude. Aura is a typical boy with good intentions. His attitude only hides his scars as a boy who misses his family. In reality, Aura tries hard to hide his sadness of his past life but it fails when Starfire notices the watery glance in his eyes. His feelings and worries to protect people can conflict with titan duties when he drops everything to save someone in their missions.
Background: Originally born in Jump City, Erick’s life has always been far from normal, being born with striped blue hair and shinning blue eyes had given much of the community an unusual feel for the young boy. Raised by his single mother Cella Rovias and his grandfather William Rovias, Erick’s life at home was always full of love. One thing that was always missing…was his father. Always asking why his dad was never around filled Cella with sadness. All she could do was give her son a with lie that “Your father is always around…I’m looking at him right here”.
Years later, Erick began to show signs of inborn energy projection powers. Which have lead to citizens being accidently hurt and collateral damage among the community when the boy was angered or scared. Unwilling to endanger their son anymore, Will and Cella bought their family home in the small hamlet of Minaville Province and planned to move away from the city that condemned their child. But on route to the new home, mother and son were caught up in a car accident with a gas tanker and explosion, Erick barely escaped the car while his mother was severely burned in sacrificing to save him. "You'll always be my shining star" was Cella’s last words as she passed away the same night in the hospital. Only sustaining 2nd degree burns on his right arm, Erick survived but only to be haunted by this memory for years to come.
Still living with his Grandfather, Erick didn't know what to do or expect to this new change. Over the years, the burn on his arm gradually changed to resemble to that of a flaming tattoo rather than a scar.
8 years passed now a grown teen, Erick retains the same changes in his appearance and his unknown power. Only to gain fear among the community because of the wild accusations that the City still held against him when he was a little boy. Cause of that stigma, Erick’s tension against normal people had gotten more and more severe.
His grandfather being a former sword instructor had insisted on teaching the art as part of training Erick physically and mentally, to tune out the illness of the world and give Erick a stronger perception. With no friends, sword training became a main factor as well as home schooling and jogging through the backwoods of his hometown. Secretly from time to time, Erick would walk along the Jump City Silver Gate bridge and gaze upon the entrance of his former home…and occasionally catch a glimpse of the T-shaped tower across the bay, the home of his heroes and defenders everyone normal and un-normal, The Teen Titans.
Near the end of the summer, on the way home from helping his Grandpa run an errand in Jump City, Erick was caught up in a battle that the Teen Titans were involved in at the Jump City Bridge against Slade and his minions. The battle was against the Titans as the insane numbers of robot commandos and their leader Slade were overpowering them. With innocent bystanders in danger, and the Team being decimated, Erick made a choice that would change his life forever...he fought back.
His assistance to the team had lead them to suspect Erick as a new hero or a villain. In her own personal reasons along with Robin’s approval, Starfire insisted to find him personally. As Kori Anders, Star found him and became Erick's first real friend. Despite the strange barrier that Erick had built up to shield his emotions, Kori saw past them and gradually allowed Erick to step out of the shell he enclosed himself in.
After weeks over visits, Erick’s trust was gained by Starfire but was soon tested when a mysterious enemy by the name of "shroud" teamed up with Slade and Attacked the Teen titans at their tower. The team was decimated immediately in Starfire's absence. Personally believeing that he could coax Erick, Slade attempted to persuade Erick to become his new apprentice...that result only caused the pain of Starfire and the abduction of her firends...those events added fuel to Erick's fire. Out of unbridled anger and his powers being unleashed further, Erick surprised Slade with the untold power that resided within him
In the aftermath of their defeat and retreat, Erick and his grandpa nursed Star back to health. With the Starfire's tears and her self-doubt for failing tearing him up from the inside, erick reluctantly volunteered to help Starfire rescue everyone. Despite her reasons not wanting him to get involved, he felt he owed her his life.
Now working together with Starfire, the young duo began their trek through the quickly approaching dusk of Jump City as they tracked down her missing comrades…only to realize that a dark essence had gloomed in the shadows of the city…waiting and watching as the blue boy began his journey.
Though years have passed since then, Erick now a fully fledged titan never forgets the brutal night and the dawn of the long fight that Shroud had given him and his new friends. Even though it still scares him, he partially thanks Shroud for helping him realize what he really is…not a monster but a guardian against the darkness of the Shadows.

This might come as a surprise but I used both colored pencils and crayons, the background looks much better than it normally does in pencils IMO. ^_^
The rewritten background on Aura took a while but eventually it came together too

You can imagine how much I went all the way with blue this time around
I did salvage some old info here and there, as well as cleaned up alot of it, looking at Gem's info she might need some more to it cause its lacking.

I stand corrected. This is the longest bio I ever read. I'm surprise I didnt lose attention XD(have an attention span of a hamster)
But anywho you cleaned up Aura pretty well. All organize and what not : O
The pic is greta too. I love both the poses and of course the design.
Also when I was reading thru his friends list, I freaked out a bit because I thought I had used Anna's old bio twice. I wa slike"Oh shit! I fucked up her bio!" Butnow i notice now that you were using the outdated one XD

Thankfully this will be the VERY LAST time I do that again 
But for the most part it was worth the long hours, and yeah Upon reading it through I made a few errors here and there, and Anna's excerpt I'm not surprised I over looked that near the end. Most of it is correct but it is alittle outdated, is there any suddgestions on correcting it?
