It's been ages since I've done any Aura and Star stories in the midst of my depresssed state...but after doing this I started to feel alittle bit better and my usual devious self. There's alot of meaning behind this story and my character, in which I hope many of you can see this in future works in both TT and TTNG alike.And YES I know theres a piccie of firanna on Aura's room wall, and thats another story for later on. BBG and I have talked about somethings...

Firanna’s POV: Like mother like son, that’s a saying I’ve heard a lot, but never gave a thought on…many f the boys on the team are pure macho knuckleheads including mah salad head to an extent. Not once did it pass that any of them had more sensitivity than usual. Least…that’s what I thought till a certain blue boi entered my life, one ever so quiet and sensitive, yet ever so strong, willful and…and loving…it’s a wonder why I never fell for him first before Beastboy.
*Titans Tower Infirmary*
Firanna: *her torso was bandaged up and her left leg was broken* BB! Would you give it a rest!!!
Beastboy: *fuming and glaring at Aura who was sitting across the room* No way babe! You know how bad he screwed up! Why not admit it!?
Firanna: *frowns* He didn’t screw up! And…
BB: *points a finger at Aura* HE left you to get buried under that crumbling building man!
Starfire: *binding Aura’s arm* Beastboy! Erick had no intention of abandoning Katea in any danger at all!
BB: *eye go slitted* Give me a good reason why I shouldn’t kick his ass then!
Aura: ………*not paying attention…he thinks back to the battle*
Firanna: *eyes over sadly*…blue…
*Memory*
Amidst the crumbling mass of the JC High School, Aura and Anna are caught up fighting against Mad Mod and the hypnotized HS students. Rather than use his full power, Aura tries to fend off the students without harming them. Anna on the other hand was going toe to toe with Mod.
Mad Mod: HA! What a ruddy waste! *summons a 2nd wave of students to fire muskets at Anna*
Firanna: O_O HO SHIT!!! *quickly waves a hand and causes the gun powder in the guns to detonate and knock the students back*
MM: *smirks* Keep on doing that love and I’ll just keep bringing in the bigger guns! And when that happeneds! I’ll take this whole damn building down along with the rest of these snot nosed brats! *lightly taps his cane*
Anna: Keep talking old timer…/Damn it, he just had to hypnotize BB again! Figures!/ *takes to the sky and quickly takes notice of Aura who was losing horribly* BLUE!!!!!
Aura: AGH!!! *gets shot 3 times and tumbles to the floor…he slowly stands back up as his wounds began to heal slower* /I cant take much more of this…/
MM: *smirks* Feeling pale my duckie? How bout bending down and surrendering?
Aura: *not paying attention he dives to the side and snatching the rifle from one student and nails him with the butt of the gun*
Anna: *comes after Mod and casts off a wave of fire that just misses him as he steps aside…and it ignites flammable drama club boxes and they explode* O_O;;;; INCOMMING!!!
*debris is scattered and Mod’s can is destroyed in the confusion, the mental control fades and the students start to return to normal*
MM: O_O GAHH!!!! You blonde streaked brat!!! I’ll get even next time!!! *takes off in the confusion*
Anna: *flips him off* Not what I wanted but I’ll take it…*another explosion rings out and without warning, Anna is pelted with large debris and buried just as the school starts to catch fire* >_< Uhhh….not part of my plan…..O_o;;;
*Aura still hurt but walking stumbles up and his face drains of color*
Aura: KATEA!!!! *tries going alien but his powers are too drained to trance* >///<….
Anna: *struggles up* Blue forget about meh! *nods over to the KO’d students that were unconscious from the explosions* Get them outta here first!
Aura: O_O…But! I can’t just!!!
Anna: *grits her teeth* I’ll live just move your ass!!! *weakly smiles* I can take the heat, but they cant! Now hurry, I can get out myself!!! *carefully starts to push herself out* MOVE!!!!!
Aura: *glances at the students and his struggling friend…clenches his fists he goes after the wounded students*…
*Memory ends*
Aura: -_-………
Anna: I told him to save the students first, you know I could handle my own.
BB: *glares* Not like that you cant! *points to her bruised ribs and broken leg*
Anna: Oh give meh a break, it was my fault that I didn’t watch my aim! How did he know that things would get so bad?
BB: O_o Well…think about it! How much bad luck that has happened was not a result of…*nods at Aura* the dude is a magnet for mistakes!
Starfire: *cocks an eyebrow* Beastboy, that’s not an excuse to blame him for misfortune. Need I remind you that you were out cold and dazed?
BB: >_< Uh yeah! Cause of him not fallowing my lead! Shit Star! It’s a wonder Robin had trouble with him!
Anna: Oh? And I don’t break a few rules too? Gar, being a leader is more than just barking orders…
Aura: *under his breath* You couldn’t lead a class of prisoners to a preschool concert.
BB: *ears twitch, he turns and glares at Aura* What did you say?
Aura: *eyes over* You heard me, and with all do respect “Master” I much rather trust my life with an intelligent control freak with a mask than an idiot with no sense of direction other than his own dick.
BB: *face goes scarlet* O_O Why you son of a- *clenches his fists* >_< If you weren’t a Titan I’ll!!!
Anna: Hey chill out you two!!!
Aura: *sits up* Since I can remember, I don’t recall any proper successes other than your own undoing…or need I remind you of that?
BB: *growls* Shut up…
Aura: Or what? You’ll ban me from the team? *folds his arms and looks away* I fallow my own path, not an upstart with a long history of fuckups and in-honorable protecting of…
BB: *snaps* PISS OFF!!! *runs at Aura with his fist raised*
Star: O_O NO!!!! stop!!!
Aura: *jumps off the hospital bed, knocks BB’s hand aside and twists it around his back, forcing him to the ground with his uninjured arm*
BB: O_O AYE!!!! YAHH!!!!! *tries struggling but sharp pains shoot through his body from the submission hold* GET HIM OFF!!! >_<
Aura: *tightens his grip as his fangs lengthen*…
Anna: *sits up but clutches her side* Gar enough!!! It wasn’t his fault that I got banged up! I was careless!
BB: *clutching his shoulder* >_< AAHHHHHGGG!!! *Tries morphing but he cant concentrate*
Star: Erick let him go! *grabs his arm warningly* It is not worth taking your rage out on him!
Aura: *breathing slowly…he lets go of BB’s arm and he falls to the floor*…
BB: >_< You ass! *clutching his shoulder* Wait till Robin hears about this! *looks up and his body goes cold* EEEP!!!! O_O…
Aura: *glares murderously at him with his eyes in their pure blue form*…*looks away* You’ve no honor nor will to sacrifice for those in need. How a coward like you ever earned the right to lead I will never understand…the lives of others that are less fortunate weighs higher than ours… *carefully turns away and looks at Anna with concerned eyes* For all I know, you don’t deserve someone like her…a fool hardy coward with no honor deserves to parish in the flames of that school. *and he walks out of the room*
BB: O_O *dumbfounded and shocked at Aura’s expression with his face pale green from his mixture of pain and his brush with the hybrids rage*…*looks over at Anna and she looks away from him*
Anna: *not even looking at him* BB…just go…
BB: But…anna it was…
Anna: *throws a warning glare at him*…….
BB: O_o;;;…-_-;;;…fine…*gets up and trudges out of the room*…how the blue demon of Jump City is favored over me I’ll never understand…*closes the door*
Anna: *sigh*…that’s not true…
Star: Katea? Are you going to be…
Anna: *looks up and sadly nods* I’ll live…as for BB, I’m getting sick of his complaints. 9_9…ever since I can remember, its been competition between him and blue. Robin and Cyborg leaving to help Bumble Bee and the gang and having BB in charge really crossed the line. -_-; Damn it Gar, just because you get privileges to lead doesn’t mean you get to boss us around.
Star: and…pushing my beloved was crossing the line?
Anna: *smirks* Well…I couldn’t hurt him, but blue…yeah I can watch him punish salad head for a good cause.
Star: O_O Really?
Anna: Ehhh…^_^;;;…well, maybe once in a while…
Star: -_-;;; You are terrible.
Anna: *lies back on her bed* Yeah, and today was a real blunder…and BB holds it against our man.
Star: *brushes Anna’s hair out of her face* Katea, there was no intention for that destruction; it was an accident, what matters is that no one was killed.
Anna: *smiles faintly*…I guess so…only thing now is that the city is one school short.
Star: *looks out towards the hall*…………
Anna: *smile fades* Go comfort him, he needs it.
Star: But I cannot leave you like this.
Anna: *shakes her head* I’ll be okay in a few days, you don’t need meh to cheer him up…*glances over and blushes faintly*
Star: *smiles*…you know I do not mind that you are close with him.
Anna: O///O….Nonononono! Its not like that Star!
Star: *giggles* Oh? And teaching him how to open up and be a loving individual is meaningless?
Anna: *blushes bright red*…
Star: *still smiling*….

Star: *rolls her eyes playfully* You don’t have to be ashamed, I did ask you to help him come out of his shell.
Anna: Uh huh…and there was a risk that I’d be falling for him and he’d fall for meh in the process. GOD I thought I was gonna lose it…
Star: *folds her arms* Katea…
Anna: It’s just that…*sigh*…you’re lucky to have someone like that. BB’s wonderful but even he has his limits on my patience.
Star: *smirks* You forget that Erick’s occasional lack of confidence and stubbornness I attend to…
Anna: *frowns*…9///9…okay okay you got meh there…
Star: Must you feel ashamed to have a “boy-friend” ?
Anna: Of course not! I mean…-///-……*sigh*…Star, I can’t help it…last thing I want to do is cause more trouble. Shit Terra was and still is a bitch…and you though…
Star: *nods* I trust you, and Erick does too…*takes her hand* There is no shame in having room in your heart for more than one man.
Anna: *blushes*…Get going will you, before the kid does something dumb.
Star: Oh…very well, but don’t you do anything “Stupid”…*gets up and floats out as the door closes*
Anna:…*smiles alittle bit*...yes maam.
Aura’s Room
Sitting on his bed in the darkened room, the moonlight shined through his window, giving him a ghostly appearance in contrast to his pale skin. He glances outside as the moon was covered by the clouds and the only light that was present was the faint blue glow in his eyes…and in his right hand, he gazed down at a silver pocket watch that popped open to show a picture of a young woman with light brown hair and twin braids and blue grey eyes...
Aura:…….*hangs his head down and begins to tear up*…Mother…
*flashback*
*14 years ago*
*A younger Aura and his mother Celeste are curled up in a blanket infront of their home fireplace*
Aura (5 years old) : Mommy, is Grandpa going to come home soon?
Celeste (Aura’s mom) : *smiles down at her son* Soon as he is done with work honey…and we’ll spend the evening of not venturing out in the snow. I promise.
Aura: *beaming up* Alright! ^_^ then time for Smores right?
Celeste: *chuckles* Indeed my little man. *looks at the fire as it lit up the room of their home and her smile fades*…..
Aura: *looks over at the fire* Mommy? Did you see something?
Celeste: *turns her attention and shakes her head* It was nothing…just the passing of the winds and the celestial beings that ride them.
Aura: ?
Celeste:…Son do you know why the wind blows?
Aura: *shakes his head* No mommy, why?
Celeste: *grins* Because they are spirits of the departed, speaking out to those in need of guidance.
Aura: Oh…you mean like……like Daddy?
Celeste:……..*sadly nods*
Aura: *looks down in shame* I’m sorry, I…
Celeste: *shakes her head* Don’t be Erick, theres no wrong in asking…I don’t doubt that he too was part of winds as well.
Aura: *looks up*…are you gonna be part of the winds too someday?
Celeste: *closes her eyes…then opens them with a response* I don’t plan on departing anytime soon honey…don’t ever think like that, those who pass on only return to the planet and the elements around us. We never leave our loved ones alone, we only change to another form…a true friend told me that and I believe it.
Aura: then…would you be the wind?
Celeste:…*wipes away a stray tear*…*she nods* to guide you every step of the way…of course.
Aura: ^_^…Mommy the Wind…that sounds really cool.
Celeste: *hugs her son tightly*…it certainly is. The wind never dies, it embraces all that are connected by heart and soul. No matter what…
*Flashback ends*
Aura:……*growls* BB you asshole, you don’t have faith in anything leteralone other people…if…if I had to give up anything, it would be my life for those in need…*glances out the window*…I would rather return to the planet than let another loved one die…
Starfire: *standing in the doorway with her eyes glowing faintly*…*she floats in and sits behind him, and touches his shoulder* Some people are hard to convince than others.
Aura:…*eyes over* Yeah, especially the types that lack in the brain dept…*looks down at his watch*
Starfire: *rests her head on his back* He didn’t mean to hurt your feelings Erick…
Aura: Uh huh, yeah right, much as his wandering eye could bag all of Tokyo, Terra and Firanna is concerned?
Starfire: *frowns and shakes her head* That’s enough…no more pain, do you wish to scorn those who you try to protect?
Aura: *pauses*…*eyes over*…?
Starfire: *gazes down at the picture in his watch* I do not think you’re mother would approve of that, Even if a friend is a total idiot.
Aura: *takes a deep breath and sigh’s*….Kori…
Starfire: *nuzzles* This too shall pass, much as other things have.

Starfire: Yes you can…but your body has its limits. She can resist and manipulate those flames, just so that you could get the other innocents out. *turns his head towards hers* She cant die from being burned, she was born from fire, but you are not…
Aura: *hangs his head down in shame*…
Starfire: Erick, you can protect many, but you must let others protect you in return. Do you not trust us?
Aura:…*nods his head*…if that means watching others die then…I…
Starfire: *turns his head towards her again with her eyes now glowing* Erick! People live and die, its part of the cycle of life, but we all return to where we originated and are born anew!......*teary eyed*…I know that you are afraid of losing those you love and cherish, but living in fear of that is no way to live. Do you really want that? Because…that scares me the most, watching those I love suffer…
Aura: *teary eyed*…I can’t help that I’m so much like her…
Starfire: her? *cocks her head curiously*
Aura: *eyes down*…I have more of moms personality than my dads, one that…she had a big heart, one that was boundless and she loved those in her life just as they did…when those people began to disappear, then it would hurt her the most. I never…I never felt like that.
Starfire: You never felt this “big hearted” ?
Aura: *hesitantly nods* I didn’t have those in my life I deeply cared for other than my mom and Grandpa…Kori do I sound weak to be…like my mom was?
Starfire: *lovingly smiles* Would you consider me as weak? Because my heart is as big as the sun herself.
Aura:…*shakes his head*…
Starfire: Then there is your answer. *hugs him from behind* One who has such a huge heart is bound to find many that would bask in its light…Love is unbound and for someone like you, that is your greatest strength than any power or sword. *closes her eyes with a loving smile* And I feel more than blessed to be part of it.
Aura: *blushes…and gazes down at his watch one last time*…guess mom getting ragged by the neighbors out of protecting me was a good thing…just as getting hassled by bitchy teammates.
Starfire: *giggles* Exactly…*gazes over and Anna is peaking in through the door crack while floating with her own look of surprise just as she ducks away from it*…and having more than one woman being part of that light makes it shine ever brighter.
Aura: *cocks an eyerow* You sure that’s a good thing?
Starfire: *nods* With people you trust, yes it is…
*Hallway*
Anna: O///o;;;….-///-…/I gotta stop eavesdropping…but…then again, can’t resist it! *takes one last peek and just out the window in the night sky, she thought she saw a faint image of a womans face in the clouds…gazing down at Aura from a distance before vanishing*…*At first spooked…then lovingly smiles, glances at the family photo of Aura and his mom on his bedside table* /Heh…guess the saying is right…like mother like son./

I've been missing this for ages, my arts been dead without the original fluff to kickstart my fire again.
I hope to revive and regain the same flare that I had from the past in both TT and TTNG with a passion, with how things are going in both worlds, I need a major comeback, and this s a start.
Aura Blaze/Starfire and Celeste's trials in her lovelife are far from dead, only evolving in time. It's my job to push on and pull out all the stops.
And as BBG said "Aura is the only other guy than BB that can touch Anna" lol

Between the stress with school and TTNG, I REALLY needed to step back and recover my old roots...lot of my originality came from these two, and in doing so I hope to revive my position in TTNG and TT...and then some.
