My Vacation is almost up and I wanted to finish 1 more Vector before I had to return to the 'real world'. I started this one up at the beginning of the year and was about half way thru when I picked it up again a few days ago.100% Gradient Mesh
I have no idea how long this one took...

I know you are using the Mesh, but are you using any textures for the skin. Dude!!! you've got pores in the skin. That's amazing!!!

No textures, just a really complex meshes. Sometimes as an overlay, sometimes added into the base shape.
