Description
I know it’s not my best, but StarryBlast9 alerted me to the possibilities of Heat’s power, so I was feeling like trying something dramatic. I don’t...know what is happening with the pose. And the perspective on the head rock is HARD.
But I really enjoyed this! And I’m really enjoying Stitch Month!
Maybe a good time to mention that, in my headcanon for the continuation of the Lilo & Stitch franchise, Heat, Plasmoid, Thresher, Hammerface, and Snafu have all moved on from their original One True Places because Gantu, in his restored role as Captain of the Galactic Armada after the events of Leroy & Stitch, requested their services in an elite space-faring squad. It worked out well, because he’d already trained them to work well together in this capacity during the first few hours of their activation. At first, Heat and the others were reluctant. Unlike some of their cousins, they had more of an up-close and personal experience with Gantu’s cruel side, remembering how he’d used them to attack Rueben for target practice, and how he’d turned them from teammates to prisoners when Stitch defeated them.
It was through to combined efforts of Rueben and Lilo that they agreed to go on one mission, just as a trial run, with Gantu and his yellow sandwich-loving galley officer. Things didn’t go well on that initial mission because Gantu did not confidently lead his squad. He was buckling under guilt at how he’d treated them, and desperate to make up for his time as a bad guy. Snafu led the way in believing in the Big Dummy as a leader, because he was the most moved by the idea of love and forgiveness when he turned good originally, and he could see Rueben’s brotherly devotion to Gantu. After a few more successful missions, Heat, Thresher, and the others began to trust Gantu and earn a reputation as the Federation’s best squad of gang-busters, hunting the Jaboodie and Wooligong aliens across the Galaxy and retrieving Hamsterviel none too gently every time he attempted escape for himself or his army of Leroy clones.
Bonus, they also get to hang out with Yogee and Jumby when they return to base or stop by Galactic Defense Industries Labs for new gadgets.
Basically, they’re Lilo & Stitch and Star Trek smashed together.
Happy Heat Day!
