I really hope that you win, especially since we don't get any merchandise of experiments other than Stitch (and Angel) here in America. Hell, I just hope that any submission that involves the experiments and/or the sequel materials' characters win, 'cause if they're only focusing on either the original film or just Stitch I'm going to be disappointed.
And if the winning submission involves Scrump prominently or if it's just "her" and Stitch like it has been on too much recent merchandise and promo material, then I'm going to be so ticked that I'll end up paying to fix a fresh raging hole in my wall instead of a tee. lol
On a side note, to speak like a shrewd businessman here, I think that you should probably have added Stitch in the middle instead of Chopsuey. Don't get me wrong, I like that you appealed to obscurity and put him in here, but I think that he might be too obscure even for Disney to remember. So obscure that they might not approve it for the voting process because they would believe you've added a fan character!

The contest does encourage you to include side characters. Whether or not that implies the rest of the franchise I dunno. I decided to go whole-hog with the idea anyway.
I hope they don't think he's a fan character. I did specifically write in the description of my submission that some the experiments were more obscure. I kinda figured a lot of the people over at Disney doing the judgingΒ wouldn't recognize most of these guys anyway, so I thought that would help if somebody got confused.
Some of my other picks included no-name experiments that were only seen in the background, so it could have been a lot worse...

Yeah, I was worried that you wouldn't be picked since you went with characters other than the title duo. (And, God forbid, Scrump. Oh my God, eight entries with Scrump and six of those with only "her" and Stitch on them?! π Seriously, we already get enough merch and promo stuff of just those two being with each other as it is!) The fact that your entry is the only entry that doesn't feature Stitch at all (and just one of two to feature experiments other than him) is impressive.

It's funny, I wasn't at all aware of the Scrump issue until I got back into the franchise earlier this year when they put up the TV series on my cable's on-demand list. I often go to TV Tropes to find out what's going on with the fandom, and that's where I read about it. I don't usually pay much attention to merch. The whole thing is very weird.
I was definitely taking a risk using such obscure characters, but I was hoping that the design would make up for it. I deliberately made it to look like something you might find in a Disney store. I'm glad it paid off- here's hoping it pays off again!
