You know how some drawings are like pulling teeth, and then others, for whatever reason, just come rolling easily out of your fingertips and it’s fun and not hard and you feEL ALIVE

Well, me neither, but I got close to that feeling with Yaarp! I know it’s not perfect, but his pose just popped off my pencil. Made me happy to draw!

Some of you have sent me kind messages after my last status update, and I appreciate it! Happy belated Yaarp Day!

Yaarp belongs to Disney!

UPDATE:

In the events of 621's campaign against the Ohana, Yaarp is not involved until Lilo figures out that the evil Experiments have set up camp, and always attack from, the islands of Niihau and Lehua. So she removes Yaarp from his spot as the "alien alarm" for the Kilauea Town Halau and stations him on the coast, watching for an invasion from 621 or his goons. Luckily Yaarp has a high vantage point, so even when Trip joins 621's group and gives them the ability to teleport past him, Yaarp can still sound the alarm as soon as he notices!

Yaarp is still very close to Pleakley in my headcanon, and behaves like an overprotective dog. He still sound-blasts anything that Pleakley is afraid of, if he can help it.
