What is this? I am alive? I'm working through my backlog of commissions and art trades?LOOOOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGGG overdue half of an art trade with famed Mayra Boyle of The Purple Husky Studios. I've known Mayra since 1997 when we were both artists on Yerf! and then later on Huzzah! magazine. We've done art trades and gift art over the years, and she always has done absolutely amazing things for me. Oh yeah, and being a good friend is up there as well, lol.
Anyway, she did an amazing image of my "Biker Mice from Mars" Sand Raider OC, Gravekeep ( I don't think she has it uploaded anywhere online anymore, so if anyone has a link, I will gladly link to it here ), and in exchange I did her Thylacine character, Terrie. I have always lurved Terrie and it was great to finally do my art spin on her!
I went for a very 80's glam style because Terrie seemed like the perfect character for it. I changed my mind on the colors of her purse THREE TIMES and since this was done all traditionally, the purse was so battered and there is no "undo option" that I decided to cut her out, glue her new thirdly colored purse to her, and use a scrapbook paper background.

LoL that description of the drama the purse caused is exactly why I can never do analogue art XD (also the fact that I can't actually draw causes problems but we'll just ignore that for purposes of the argument). I think her tail should kink the other way with how her spine is bending? Anyway, looks great, that glam look does seem to suit the character (even though I know nothing about said character!). Those tail piercings

My first cell phone was a flip phone. 2007 Samsung Stride that I got 3-4 years ago. I still use it as I have no interest in a smart phone. When I first got it, I was going through it trying to figure out how it works and found the ringtone store. I went straight to the heavy metal section and the first thing listed was Run To The Hills by Iron Maiden. That's still my ring tone.
