Alternative title - Next time I want mommy to read my bedtime story, dad.

Oh. My. God. I'm FINALLY done! I feel like a mother who's pushed out a 5 kilos baby - exhausted and proud.

Anyway, this was an assignment - I was practicing light and shadows. The theme was horror, so I imagined some kind of scientist from the beginning of the 20th century who have stumbled over a discovery humans aren't meant to discover. It turned out veeeery Lovecraft, and I didn't even intend it to be Lovecraft in the first place. Not consciously, anyway. But I guess if you combine an early 20th century scientist with an old book and crippling madness and tentacled and winged creatures of Doom that defies all that's logic you will always associate it with one certain horror writer. So I kinda went with the flow and even wrote some sentences from Necronomicon in the book.
Also, I might have been a bit too much inspired by our teacher's drawing. He's good at drawing lurking creatures with tentacles.

This is a dedications to all people who've lost their minds in Lovecrafts books. Know that your madness will not be forgotten - it will hopefully keep entertaining generations more.
