Hey even if it is a shitty title, this art work is well done, it reminds me of how I look most of the time.

Wonderful combination of both realism, sketching and abstract drawing.

This is brilliant, keep going.

Thank you! I'm a personification of chaos, which is mostly seen through my hair which cannot be subdued, my surroundings having a very strong proclivity to entropy and the drawings being messy XD
I'm glad you like it, though

This your best work so far in my opinion. Has a good details and wonderfull colours. Face looks realistic and that is a very big bonus. Background fits with experssion of the man. So in short version: It is gorgeous.

Thank you! I'm trying to go for a bit comic-like realness of the drawings (even if in case of finally getting myself to start doing a comic I would simplify the style ). The process of making any of my drawings is usually purely coincidental. I start, a sketch. I add some things. Experiment. On some hunch I try these, that colours, some transparency, dots here, lines there, until it looks averagely pleasant, because I'm not ever completely satisfied with anything XD If I have some vision before I start doing a drawing, even sketching it, I know what I'm going for but I never get to the point of getting everything, portraying all the things that were in the idea - because I'm simply not skilled enough yet (or I forget some parts of the idea while executing it XD).
I'm glad you like it : )

Man you make it sound easy I always wanted to 2 skills in my skill set. One was being able to paint and draw, other is talking more than a few languages. Well at least I got one(hopefully).

It's not easy ... Sometimes I sit eight hours straight for two days and can't get a small thing done, because it's still not even enough to be "finished"... (I shall laugh here. Sarcastic, mad laughter: insert.)
What can I say... It's a lot easier to learn how to sculpt than how to draw. Clay, plasticine - there are a lot of mediums that are a lot easier than... ekhm... marble, wood, steel, wires, texture on lines attached to the ceiling...
Painting and drawing is hard if you want to go into semi- or realism. You can express a lot more (and leave a very... comfortably... spacey wiggle room for interpretation) by doing abstract paintings. Oil, acrylics - best. With acrylics you can attach a lot of things to the canvas or painting board (cheaper) or painting paper (one piece cheaper than a board, but it's not as durable). (And I'm serious here. Heck, I've been trying to do ebru not having anything necessary for that technique - in the end I've used watercolors mixed with a mixture of gelatine that partly floated on the cheapest alcohol I could find mixed with potato starch- all in a plastic box that was too high and is used to store dog toys, which I have thrown out of there before of course. The effect wasn't what I expected, but it was so much fun I've ended up doing that for three hours and leaving the signs of the massacre on almost every kitchen floor tile and making the mistake of not cleaning it JUST afterwards, but waiting to do that next day, when it all... dried...and was terribly hard to wash.)
You can still do both of the two things you've mentioned! : )

Clay you say... Well I swear to myself that I will never touch that again. So thing is my friend had a assigment and she had to replicate a thing( a famous building etc.). And she wanted me to help her. She had no idea what she got herself into. But first I had to say this I am not at fault in this situation(at least not fully). And somehow she got clay on her hair. Blamed me. Tried to cover my face with clay. I ran. She jumped on me. Broke the coffe table. Soo.. yeah clay is a no no for me.
Although I am planning to take courses when I have some free time.
Ebru... wonderfull technic and one of hardest in my opinion. There are no room for mistakes. Yeah well if you make that mistake(leaving the dirt) a few more times you might grow muscle while trying to clean it XD
Nah I dont think drawing is my think tho. Have you seen my stickman? They dont look like stickman. I am more into photographs to. I am saving some Money for a Professional Photograph Machine.

Hmm, them... what about gypsum? Gypsum sculptures? xD

By the way... you don't have to have a pricey professional camera to make good photos. There are some great cameras that are... maybe a bit old... but can be bought for less than half a price of a new one and are almost unbreakable.
For example Canon PowerShot A700 (speaking from personal experience... that was my previous camera, which in many cases is better than the one I have now. Don't make people coerce you into something that costs an arm and a leg just because it's... Nikon... I'm not fond of Nikons at all and Canons are my best choice for now xD).

Well, it was made by hand. It's not artificial... Although it's not real, either... If you consider some data and viewing on a 2D screen not real... XD
I'm glad you like it!

I'm trying to develop a sort of realism that wouldn't take forever to do and, at the same time, would still have the comic-like feel to it... (What's hindering the progress is my own skills, but that's a whole different topic XD)
...
I was just too lazy to make any real background for a sketch. I'm glad it turned out likeable
