That is impressive. Every time I hear and see a piece that evokes a set of intense emotions I marvel at how an artist can paint/draw those experiences into it.
While your experience of being "held in a cage" is uncomfortable, your ability and work in transferring or making it into something physical to be seen and then felt is awesome. You put a part of yourself (as does every artist no matter the quality or type of work) into this and the outcome causes introspection and emotion.
Well done!

Thank you : )
I agree that every artist puts a part of themselves into what they're doing... But I would say more... that every person, in fact, does that. Because we are, in a sense, the time we have, time we occupy. Whatever we would do, we put a part of ourselves in that. Be it a conversation with someone, working on a project, listening to something... We are both very... simple... and very complicated at the same time. It's the beauty this world has in itself. It's much more than... dual. Is or isn't. Makes sense or doesn't. It's like a tree with infinite roots and infinite branches. The roots are inspiration, experiences, polishing the skills we have (in every and any field, even in being aware of our surroundings), environment: things we are or are not aware of that have an impact on our actions. The trunk is doing something, choosing one over the other, going in a direction we choose to. The branches can be consequences. Can be interpretations of what we have done. Things that happen afterwards. Thoughts we evoke in others by what we have done. Then a society is a big forest. Whose branches can intertwine, sometimes grow into one, trunks can do that too. There are infinite possibilities, but at one moment in time we can choose to do only one (not considering the theory of every moment in time creating more and more universes depending on the choices we can make XD).Β
(I'm not sure my reply makes any sense, I have a proclivity to writing things at length and straying from the subject, sorry for that. Hope I didn't make you waste your time by reading the above. ;D)
