I noticed that when in a painting you zoom in on certain parts of a face or part of the body,
it captures much more feeling.
I think this is because the viewer can kind of imagine the rest of the person, the parts which are not shown.
And it makes one more involved.
Also, the thought of being so close to someones face makes it feel more personal

I really like the way you use pink shades and warm ones. They blend so well together. Not too dark darknesses and this greyish blue eyes! I really like the way you used colours here!
This splats brush gives very interesting effect and in general texture brushes you used ^_____^. I really like this piece.
This empty eyesight is so intriguing! As if this character was thinking about something important and somehow heavy...

Its so much fun and then I play a bit with it and merge
I think it gives the perfect combination of being a bit out of control but still being able to get some detail in.

You saying that the eyes give the idea of the character being in thought, heavy thoughts, is great to me.
I wouldn't know what it is that is being thought of but I tried to go for the portals of the soul idea XD
