Description
This is Daisy, lives in Japan and she's probably the cutest kitten in the world. At least her owner Ben Terode claims so and i couldn't agree more!
Heres my second attempt with Daisy
I used:
Derwent watercolor pencils dry
Albrecht Durer faber castell watercolor pencils dry
white and black gel pen
all

This work is really amazing. I can't see any flaw in the concept and making.
First of all it's well set, the author leads us to where he wants to: saying upwards. The kitty is in its right proportions, we can recognize a little cat without any doubt.
What strikes me is how the artist rendered the play of light, espcially with the distribution of whites, in the whiskers, under the mouth...I also like the way the eye was drawn -the eye socket is perfect!, this shows perfect mastering of light but shape too.
It's a well balanced showing of thechnique (I mean the hair are perfectly rendered, and give a sense of movement, that balance the calm of this kitten, somehow awaiting something (a gentle stroke, or maybe food e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="
So I said it's a well done balance between technique and expression. And how the hell did you render the fence behind??? Amazing, I told you!!

mine is 16y old now and he is not very playful lately. No matter he is and always will be my prince

Yes. We had two ginger boys that we lost fairly close together. One was 17 and the other 16 (he got cancer poor baby). I still miss them. We haven't got another one as we live on a tropical island now, with lots of beautiful birdlife. The birds come to visit us. We do have a nine year old lab and she's very sweet

when i focus i can bring good results i guess... Its hard to focus some times...some other times its even harder to convince myself to be patient enough. Lack of patience is my greatest disadvantage
