Edding 140S Marker 0.3mm black for all the tiny black fur details
C.Kreul extrafine 0.8mm white for all the tiny highlights in fur

You interpreted a beautiful creature as you saw it, you used your G-D given talent to do so, and you presented it for all to see. All artwork should be unique to the artist's hand. Your contribution here IS unique to you, and (as far as I'm concerned) stunning! Though others may find fault with your technique or presentation, I prefer to look beyond "art teacher critique", to effort, intent, and purpose. I love cats, and I appreciate beautiful art. This touches my soul on both counts and (please) don't consider my words to be at all patronizing! If you love, express the emotion. I love it.

Absolutely stunning and beautiful work! This is a very dreamy piece, for a viewer could quite easily get lost in the eyes of the cat. The textures are quick and smooth strokes of pencil, which gives the piece a sense of softness and depth.
This cats blue eyes are magnificent and definitely the focal point; even down to the small details in the iris's. All physical aspects appear to be nicely balanced and composed correctly on the animal. I like how there's a balanced space of darkness and blue hues behind the animal, which brings the viewers eye back to it's eyes and blue hues on the nose and tufts of fur.
As said before, this animal is very dreamy, but at the same time, concentrated. It's easy to feel calmed by this animal.
In my opinion, you did great work in expressing these above feelings in the expression of the cat.
I feel what you saw in the photograph, you reflected VERY well into this piece. However, due to it being from a photograph, it did take away from the originality of the subject coming from the artists mind. I feel the skill and techniques used were magnificent! This would easily be an excellent art piece for any cat lover to own! Great work!
