"This the third astrological sign in the Zodiac, originating from the constellation of Gemini. In astrology, Gemini is considered a "masculine", positive (extrovert) sign. It is also considered an air sign, and is one of four mutable signs.
In Greek mythology,Gemini were the twin brothers Castor and Polydeuces, together known as the Dioscuri. Their mother was Leda, but Castor was the mortal son of Tyndareus, the king of Sparta, and Polydeuces the divine son of Zeus, who seduced Leda in the guise of a swan."
This is my last addition to my zodiac series, the first one was Leo and the second one was Virgo
I wanted to change the concept slightly. So here are two beautiful twins alright, but they are clearly no humans.
Dedicated to Brenda a sweet wonderful friend.

I think this piece is really great! You've done a super job with the colors. They have a seamless flow, and really draw attention. The detail in the foreground is beautiful, and not over done. Sometimes I see pieces like this, where the artist uses a similar median, and adds too much detail to their piece and their work becomes 'dead' to me. Things can seem rigid, or un-alive. You've done a nice job preserving the life in this piece, but keeping clarity. It's like I can smell the purple flowers around the kittens, and I can feel the emotion coming from those beautiful eyes. I think the way you used the water color affect. It adds a nice touch of depth to your drawing.
I hope this critique helps you to improve with your art work. I wish I could give you more structural criticism, but I just can't think of anything else to pick at! This piece really is amazing, you've done an excellent job. I love seeing your different art in my DA messages, and seeing how you've progressed over the time that I've been one of your watchers. i LOVE the Leo lion in ur zodiac series. it's gorgeous!!!!! is this an original??? can it be bought??? and i just, right now, bought #35 Bath Time, and #19 Dreaming. i am soooo happy, it's unreal!!!! and thanks for what Dennis did. that was VERY MUCH appreciated!!!! i mean, u don't know me, i'm far from rich, but Dennis did this and like, just blew my mind!!! Dennis did say i could put #35 on a layaway plan, and it would take 18 months to pay it off!!!!!! i thought i could do it, but i thought about it and just knew i wouldn't be able to wait that long. I thought only rich people got stuff like that. so i thank u very much from the bottom of my heart. and i put #8 Daisy Revisited on hold. so, hopefully i can put both pictures on each side of #35. that would be wonderful. thanks again for ur kindness and understanding. very much appreciated. i hope u have ur show soon. don't know how longer i can wait {hint, hint,wink,wink}!!!!!! and, of course, i hope u have a WONDERFUL Show. with what i saw of ur paintings, it will be a very good show. but the Main Attraction is MINE now!!!!! ur lucky i'm lending it to u!!!! LOL anyway, have a great show, and hope to see more cats, wild and tame, maybe some horses. that private collection 1, the #39 Beauty, i just love that 1. it's so unique!!!! so how about if u paint the eyes a different colour, and colour the cat's coat a different colour, i like black, had 3 of them, or a calico or something, and then ud have a whole new painting u could sell to me and me and #39's owner would have different pictures!!!!! sounds like a plan to me. think on it.

Hi Christina. I saw Leo and Hiding Place {cat} on dA, and i'm going to buy them. Warren said u mite not have let them take photos of those 2. But they're on dA, so u must have, rite!?!? I REALLY hope so, cause i LOVE them both, especially the cat, and they're BOTH YOURS!!!!!!!! Gotta have them!!!!! Not sure where I saw Gemini, but have no idea what he looks like!!!! It will be a nice surprise when i do get him from u!!! waiting breathlessly...
And if i can get Leo as a print, well, that's really great with me. He's Magnificent!!!! And Hiding in Place, sooo cute and beautiful!!!! At least i'll have 2 more pictures if urs, which makes me Very Happy.
hope ur doing ok, and all is well with u, way over there. Doing good here, nothing unusual. Emailing Warren, which is so nice. He's so helpful and kind. Hopefully Warren and I meet soon at Dennis' or he said he mite deliver the paintings from u himself, seeing ur sending them to him. And i live about 6-7 minutes from But...Art!!!! so he certainly won't have to drive very far. He said he lives in the South End, which, of course, I have no idea where that is!!!!

I feel as if the eyes are the most exquisite thing about this...the fur is nice and has extra colors to make it look soft and fuzzy, while the eyes are only giving nice birght blues and some purple to outline it. Its like..there are holes allowing a cat to look through.
Bravo and keep up the great work!
P.S And they stand out perfectly, but not extremely which is good, otherwise the rest of it would be ignored.
