I mean I love Jim Henson's work a lot, but yeah... The skeksises seemed to be only the only cool looking characters in the movie, and also the only ones that don't seem to call into the Uncanny Valley (not that I ever watched the Dark Crystal I just saw some clips from the movie in other videos I've watched on YouTube XD).

I am, too, a huge fan of The Dark Crystal, tho yes, what I enjoy most at the movie are-and always will be- the skeksis
The whole of the movie is a visual masterpiece of it's time in my opinion, but if there were any characters in it which I truly enjoyed watching- to the point that they stuck with me as an ever-favorite, those are the skeksis, without hesitation ^^

I agree, whereas the whole movie is a beautiful work of art, the skeksis gotta be definitely what I see as the most complex and also visually entertaining characters in it ^^
Everything, from their garb design to their personalities, their anatomy and background history---it's just so damn interesting!

Well, thank you ^^ I'm glad you enjoy my skeksis crazyness ^^ If there's a thing I love doing is expanding universes I already love, and the Dark Crystal is such a huge source of inspiration to me that I've dedicated it almost a 90% of all my recent drawn art ^^ *seeing as I already sculpt and craft different things for my daily job, I chose to devote my hobby-art mostly to the skeksis, since the fan- projects and ideas they bring me never end XD
