Description Two characters from my up coming comic Exit Night. Playing a bit with textures, which I haven't used that often yet.
I really like his face in this... Though it looks very different from the sketch. This is my favorite version of this pic.

Det låter inte så bra. Jag har väl anat men jag vet inte om jag kunnat hjälpa något när vi inte haft någon speciell kontakt. Vill inte tränga mig på om du inte riktigt velat något vad det handlat om. Svårt.

Skönt att du mår bra. Jo det har varit en del jobbigt som hänt. Känner väl inte riktigt att jag vill skriva om allt så här i en bildkommentar dock. I love the coloring one this and over all the piece is very well done. The detail of the ribbon and the texture of the wall behind them really helps complete this.

very interesting - the present idea is usually used in less serious works, but here you can clearly feel the darkness in there...

this is a neat concept and i like the character designs
the texture works well in this and i like the colors
also the hair and fabric folds are great
the guy kinda reminds me of an evil version of fenris lol but that's cool
the only critique i have is his hands need some work, the one on the left more than the right
but overall this picture makes me interested in what the comic will be about i like it

Yay! Thank you so much Brittni! Glad you like the concept. Not been drawing much for quite some time, so I'm happy that I actually managed finished something for once.

Yeah I know, he really reminds one of Fenris I always want to draw original stuff, but somehow almost all characters I make end up being similar to someone else's. I've had these characters and the idea for the story in my head for many years now though, even before the first Dragon Age game came out. I think it will take a few more years before I actually start working one it, since I want to sharpen my skills and become as good as I possibly can. This is one of my many ideas I would like to try and publish one day. I still have a long way to go... The world, the creatures and everything in the story are still just vague images in my head. I don't even have a name for the guy in this image yet, and he is one of the main characters. I'm still working on his design as well, so this is probably not how he will look in the end.

ANd yes. The hands really bug me... I guess I could redraw them, and maybe actually use real hands as a referents, since I'm clearly not very good at drawing them right out of my head. But, alas, I'm lazy and I never really enjoyed drawing them. Hopefully I will enjoy drawing them more once I get better at it Maybe I should try to draw some hand studies this week.

Oh... long comment! hehe! I really like talking about my ideas and such, without spoiling to much And thank you again! It's always a pleasure reading your comments.

I know how it goes with comics taking a long time to make
if you want to do it though you have to stop and make yourself do it, you'll always be improving so if you wait til you're at your best the day will never come that's the problem i've been having haha
and once you start to really get into making the comic ideas will come to you and the story will begin to sort itself out...you cant wait for it to come to you you have to make the story happen yourself
i've changed my characters and story a thousand times since i first started making it you just have to wait til your at the point where it starts to feel right and you feel like now's the time to get started
hopefully you don't have to wait too much longer for it

and about the hands this tutorial is pretty helpful it's basically the way i learned how to draw hand in my life drawing class...it shows how the hand works and how to break it up into simple shapes

it's ok i like long comments lol
and i hope my rambling there makes sense i'm kinda tired and out of it from partying all night
