Description This frog was hiding in a swamp under massive lily-type leaves--he was hard to see but easy to hear!

Green indeed I love the way frogs hang off things like that, it almost looks like he's thinking about jumping onto your camera at any second.

omg! Fantastic DOF and lovelly composition. The frog really camouflages against the green bg. Amazing capture and I wish we would have frogs like this in Finland.

thanks very much---I would have liked a bit more DOF, but the shadows under the leaves in the swamp required a pretty wide aperture. The shallow DOF does give it a bit of artistic quality though....glad you like it!

your photography blows me straight out of the water. i love the color in this... and the fact that the frog matches the bg so perfectly. such vivid greens! those, combined with the focus just make this one jump right off the page!

The perfect color match is probably the reason these frogs hang out on the stems---it's really hard to find them, even though they were just croaking moments before and you KNOW they are there! I'm glad you like this image--I was so excited when I spotted a frog that day! Thanks for the
