This is my first big landscape picture for a while - feeling a bit rusty! But working this one out has helped: the next one should be better. I want to try and get into the habit of composing my pictures with only one or two main subjects, rather than producing a random clutter of disparate details... like thisThis image is based on a photo I took last Saturday of a mossy tree stump. But the painted version isn't nearly as lush and verdant as the original...

This is the kind of artwork I can only dream of creating one day, and here you are with it oozing out of you. Your creative genius inspires me to try to be if only a fraction as good as you are now.
...Holy cow. The lush details...I see beauty and mysteriousness and it feels as if I've been transported to another world. Such kickass work is a valued inspiration to folks like myself. The DD you recieved is nothing short of deserved.
I have nothing more to say, other than amazement.

Wow, this picture..really is amazing. x.x That's all I can say. It very much reminds me of the part in SOM when the main character is crossing that bridge and falls down the waterfall into that stream, for some reason.
So.. pretty.. v_v; I wish I could do stuff like this.

you have an incredible talent with putting detail in dude
i have one critique, and that's that the tree in the far right and the one near the left definitely look more like the types that would grow in a desert climate. especially the way the one on the right is twisted, that would most likely happen to a dehydrated tree.
but for the way this looks, it's incredible. I have no idea how you can even use photoshop or whatever to put that much texture into a drawing.

yeah - Legend of Mana is (I think) the 4th game in a series. I have only played the 2nd and 3rd - 'Secret of Mana' and 'Seiken Densetsu 3' both SNES games, both unutterably brilliant. Seiken Densetsu 1 was an NES game I think... Only Secret of Mana and Legend of Mana have been translated into english.
