Probably should get some clay for myself so i can make a strong moisture resiliant one for myself.

I wouldn't go for that material for moisture control. There is a better, more durable, and sadly way more expensive material i came across recently: Thermal Plastic. It's a sheet of paper-like material that when you apply heat (heat gun) it becomes movable, clay-like even. You make armor and high-level DETAILED costumes out of it
