Function: Outlaw, member of the Lonesome Seven gang
Gang members: Cass Hart Jeffery Sweet Sam Wester Dale Thomas Rosemary Pierce, Blackjack
Personality:The words 'lady like' don't apply to Clara in the least. She is far from sociaties view of what a lady should be. To put it simply, Clara is one of the boys. Which she is often mistaken for with her mud caked appearance and vulgar language. Confident to a fault her mouth is often the cause of many confrontations. She can often be sarcastic and doesn't hesitate to speak her mind. Still, she is carefree and always up for pulling a fast one on the law. Stubborn and strong willed, she hates being treated like a delicate flower, taking every opportunity to prove she can tussle with the best. Though she can be blunt and a bit insensitive, Clara is well know for her protective actions towards other kids. Often, to the dismay of some of the other gang members, bringing "strays" back to the gang hide out. Clara has a strong friendship with Sam, the two of them all but inseperatable. Sam often refers to her simply as 'Pup', to her irritation.
History:
Clara Dawson, along with her younger brother Milo, were two of the many children at Pine Creek Orphanage. Sure it wasn't the greatest place in the world, but it was home. That was till one night in August.

Having woken up to the sounds of "ghosts" Milo, ever the curious pup, crept out the sleeping room window to investgate, with his sister hot on his heels with a fresh scolding. It was not ghosts outside the orphanage however, it was the Lonesome Seven gang in a heated fight with some of the towns resident deputies. As bullets and fur began flying, Clara was dragged back into the orphanage by the resident "mother", Abigal Conner.

When the dust and sounds of fighting finally stopped, Clara rushed back out for Milo. The Lonesome Seven gang was gone, left behind were the wounded and ruffed up law men. As well as two lifeless bodies in the dirt, a officer and...her brother. The law men informed her that the death of her brother was caused by the leader of the Lonesome Seven gang, "The Lonesome Kid". Enraged by grief Clara attempted to chase down the gang members, but with her little puppy legs she didn't get far, and was brought back to the orphanage by mother Abigal. For weeks afterward she thought of nothing but her brothers death. It had always been the two of them against the world, now it was just her. Weeks passed and Clara was adopted by two ranchers.

Days after her arrival to her new home Clara was out roaming the large ranch's many acres when she stumbled into a forgotten mine shaft. Dangling on the edge of the mines opening she was saved in the nick of time, as fate would have it, by Cass Hart, the leader of the Lonesome Seven gang. After a brief confrontation, Clara watched Cass Hart leave in the direction of Rattle Snake Range. Presuming that the Lonesome Seven gang's hideout must be somewhere among those foot hills Clara spent a better part of a month searching for the gangs hideout. On the outting of what she felt would be her last ditch effort to find the hideout, she is ambushed by the whole of the Lonesome seven gang. After a brief confrontation of yelling and accusations, Clara learns that Cass Hart was not responsible for her brothers death. After learning this Clara joins up as the youngest gang member. She was determined to get her revenge on her brothers true killers.
Relations:Older Sister to Milo, adopted daughter to Roy and Mary Dawson.

Up & Ahead belongs to my friend The comic I am creating simply takes place in that world. In no way, shape or form am I trying to steal her comic. A bit sad that I have to tell people that. :/
