Function: Outlaw, leader of the Lonesome Seven gang

History:
Cass Hart was born Sarah Jane Marshal to Dalton and Beth Marshal, the pets of two rancher owners. Sarah was a happy and easy going pup. The only childhood woes her life possesed were chores and the occassional scolding. Growing up as a pet to many ranch hands she had all the love and guidance a child could hope for. But it wasn't to last. One night her father's past came back to call. Before meeting and settling down with her mother, Dalton Marshal had been an outlaw, having ran with the Red Arrow gang, known for it's robbery and murdering tendencies. But after years of running with the gang he felt crushed by his sins and left to mend his ways.

One by one the Sheriff Bill Grant, known as "Bloody Bill" by most outlaws, and his men tracked down every last member of the Red Arrow gang, bringing each of them to "justice". Having finally tracked down the last known member, Dalton and Beth were viciously torn apart by the sheriff and his brothers. The sons of one of Dalton's many victims. Though an investigation into the death of her mother, who had never been a gang member, took place and many felt strongly that Bill Grant would have to take responsibility in her wrongful death, no arrests were made and the investgation was quickly dropped.

Having heard of the bloodshed and the state of his parent's deaths Ryland, Sarah's older brother, came and took her from her ranch home and brought her to live with him in the dog run community of Parched Throat. A long forgotten mining town, rebuilt and inhabited by dogs. Sarah soon felt at home in the little town and had created strong bonds with most of the residence. But it seemed that life wasn't through sending her a tragic hand. Only a few months after her transition to Parched Throat her brother was killed in a fight with one of Sheriff Bill's officers. Sarah was shattered by the loss of her family at the paws of the law. The very dogs that were supposed to protect the weak were nothing but wicked, currupt, murderers. And she vowed she'd make them pay. Upon her vow she abandoned her birth name, her old self having died with her brother.

Having left Parched Throat soon after, she returned to her old ranch home in search of allies. She soon found herself leader of her own gang, The Lonesome Seven. Her gang mostly preyed on stagecoaches in the early days. Adding cattle rustling, train robbing, and the occasional kidnapping into the mix every now and again. Anything to embarrass the local law inforcement. But soon the gang would have blood on their paws when an ambush on some of Sheriff Bill's old deputies goes bad. One of Bill's men are killed but so was a pup who happened upon the wrong place at the wrong time. Forced to flee the gang headed back to Parched Throat, were they are surprised to find some residence willing to hide them. For many months after her return to Parched Throat Sarah, now mostly known as Cass Hart, continues to be an ever sharpening thorn in the laws side. Her gangs activities increasing and becoming much more serious and well planned as thier numbers grew. But when the pressure from larger and larger posses begin to close in on her gangs hide out, Cass and her gang leave the area of Parched Throat to re-supply and re-group. Still being tracked down by the laws finest and curruptest, Cass is forced to lead her gang farther and farther from their normal hiding range. After days of travel Cass and the gang find themselves in another dog run town. A town full of possibilities. The town of Gold Marrow.....
Relations: Daughter of Dalton and Beth Marshal, younger sister to Ryland Marshal, Niece to Babs and Loyd Marshal, no love interests as of yet.
