I had that problem as well with the wings of my dragon in Zbrush, where the wing membrane comes free from the spines. Did you find a work-around for that?

it's because when you subdivide, it smooths your geomethry and so your low-poly base would not hold. you can either fiddle with subdivision options or merge your wing structure with your wing membrane.

Well, yeah, I knew that much, but seems like joining the wing structure and the membranes won't allow for good movement with animation...

btw this model was a complete mess as far as mesh organisation goes. ^_^ i even didnt bother laying it's UVs -let alone animate it. it's essentially a sketch gone outa control :-p

if you gonna animate better dont subdivide much anyway. just smooth with normal angles then apply a bumpmap or normal map for details.

Yeah, this what I've been doing. Just never found a proper solution for wing membranes being connected yet also stretching with the wings...

bu model dörtgen yüzeylerin birleşmesinden oluşuyo. bu yüzeylerin her biri de bi polygon yüzü. polycount da modelin toplamda kaç polygon yüzünden oluştuğu. aslında 90.000 polygon sadece ana gövde. kanat derisi ve taş ayrı objeler >_>
