still is missing something IMHO but i'll leave it for the time being
i'll update if i add anything
i have this terrible urge to cover the balloons with tribal or fishnet patterns.
This started out as an experiment with acrylics because suggested i should try acrylics again.
Started out as a watercolor-ish painting
The watery acrylic works better on paper and board than on the canvas because the canvas does not readily absorb the water and pigments as the paper does. Also, all the dilution makes the pigments have a difficult time adhering to the canvas[that painting is now hidden completely hidden and covered]
I wiped most of the watercolor/acrylic painting i went to a heavier line- concentrated style [girl in the foreground] .... and then went to a heavy impasto.
Most of the brushstrokes were covered with chalk and charcoal for the face detailing with inks layered to give more depth.
I am somewhat happy with the portrait on the left.
nothing else to say. I feel like i've learned a lot through the process of this, but it doesn't show ^^"

maybe the girl on the far right needs to be a different color? Compared to everything else, she seems too bright and the width of the outline makes her seem really flat, even with the shading inside.

the actual one is a few tones darker.. my scanner can't really pull the dark tones as well as the bright ones without making the subtle tones really contrasting x_o
i see what you're saying though... i think i might just add a wash of gray over the whole right side

Hmm, if i may give some critique, the colors seem to not unify the piece in an effective way.
Like something about the colors just doesn't seem right lol
I'm not exactly sure what you were trying to conjure, but the face on the left and the Banksy-like stenciled figure seem to show a contrast of style, i really like it :>
I still think the colors seems to be a bit hectic, but i like the piece overall
