an experimental watercolor piece.another portrait : [link]
i was working on had such muddled, dirty, dull colors, i wanted to go ultra-vibrant.
Then, I quite literally, stumbled upon Piet Mondrian's painting Gray Tree, which I promptly fell in love with.
To me, this is still a work in progress and a sketch to better understand the paper and paints I'm working with. To my teacher, it's a 'wonderful', 'finished piece' that I should not 'overwork'

This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old ultra-vibrance? Thats what I thought of when I looked at this work.
Its absolutely amazing so full of colour and peaceful motion. Its like sitting on the beach watching the waves roll in with a cool ocean breeze flowing over everything on a beautiful summer afternoon.
