Description
Another poster for a movie that will likely never be made, but my god, this is how it should be cast.Good Omens, for those who don't know, is a piece of genius written by two geniuses, Neil Gaiman, and Terry Pratchett. It's about what happens when the Apocalypse is about due, but the cosmopolitan angel Aziraphale and the dashing demon Crowley have decided they don't want to say goodbye to good ol' earth... but meanwhile the four horsemen are assembling, and somewhere in England, the Antichrist is growing up...
Anyway, that's the summary, and this is my idea for the perfect actors for the two leads. Oh yeah.

Harris is too suave, you need someone a little more, hmm, fluffy to be Aziraphale. Maybe a bit older as well. Harris would make a good archangel though.

Also my only request for the series would be (other than this casting) that they replace "Bohemian Rhapsody" with "Bat Out of Hell." Try and tell me that "Bat out of Hell" would not be better for the book.

I like this casting, but I'm not sure the actors would like the parts. Neil Patrick Harris wearing tartan, and Zachary Quintwearing sunglasses, even when he dunt need to? IT WOULD BE AMAZING!!!! I mean....The awesome could not be contained on the screen, and anyone who watch would have there eyes burst in to flames.

NPH is one of my very favorite actors, and Good Omens is one of my very favorite books, so them together very well could kill me of the sheer awesome.

We know whoever's cast must be fundamentally hawt.
On the albums,both are epic rock scores, either one would work. This is the soundtrack to the apocalypse, after all, the music must be so! Both have excellent guitar riffs and classy beats. I'd be happy either way.
when you mentioned Meatloaf I had a weird idea of "I Would Do Anything for Love"'s music video as the soundtrack/cinematography. I think that makes me a heathen tooooo-

I just think of some dramatic scene of Crowley leaping from the car, Aziraphale running to him, they collapse in each other's arms at the gates of doom, as "And like a sinner before the gates of heaven I'll come crawling on back to you..." like that, you know?

I personally imagined a Crowley-ed version of that part where the motorcycle crashes into the mausoleum on the police, except it's the Bentley and on FIRE.OH YEAAAAH. And at the end, they ride off into the sunset with the Bentley, except nobody's at the wheel so they're holding onto the roof for dear life. Yes, I have a skewered way of seeing this.
We should found a club.The Heathen's Good Omens Fanclub. We'll have letterman jackets, occasional gatherings to share heathen ideas, and supportable alibis in case we get in hot water with the coppers.

Oooh, nice... I do like Adrian Brody (he's currently starring as D'Artagnan as I read 'The Three Musketeers' for the first time), but I'm not sure he can do wicked. Is there a film where he's shown off his devilish side?

Not really, but he would look amazing as crowley...there's a picture, when you look on google images, it's like the third one in, of him in what I always imagine crowley wearing.
I would recommend though, that he spend a while reading and rereading the book, just so he gets the character right.
He has the right sort of feel to him, and the right energy, he just needs to show a bit more and wear the right clothes. It's less about the appearance and more about "could he pull it off?".

I don't watch How I Met Your Mother, so I see "Dr. Horrible, and that guy who likes to sing Les Mis with his costars, and who made an It Gets Better video" as an angel. Works for me.
But if you prefer, I say that his expression is ENTIRELY too innocent...
