Description
I'm studying Tarot, and early in my study (last September) I got the idea to convey the Major Arcanum through Avatar characters, and here is the beginning of the result. Pencil on paper.

Aang is obviously The Fool, he's even got all the imagery, what with Momo, the staff, the abandoned Southern Air Temple, and the cliff. Zuko as the Magician is less obvious, and less satisfying. I ended up having to redo that card, because at the point in the story where I illustrated him (evident from the hairdo) he's not very enlightened, and that's the Magician: he's enlightened. He knows himself, even if not the rest of the world. But Zuko does fit as the Magician in this Arcanum, and you'll see why as the deck progresses.
