I cannot believe I'm finally done with this
it took me sooooo much time and headaches
,but I finally made it!!!I ish happeeeeh 
This is my entry for #AnimeEssentials 's Mascot Contest .Her name's Iris Lucía Kiryu, honoring two friends of mine ,and I hope they don't mind me taking their names
It's just that's an old habit of mine to create characters with my friends' names because I love them and I wanna always remember of them.
Took 30+ hours to make,for around 1 month.It was HELL to make not-rainbowish clother,I'll tell ya.
As I told =AwsumZ ,I didn't want to make rainbow clothing for the mascot,instead wanted something more...well,normal.It was pretty hella hard but seems I was really able to do it.LOL.
Tools;HB,2B pencil for lineart+Photoshop CS2 for the entire coloring.YES,THIS IS A DIGITAL WORK.and it's mostly why it took me so much time as well
altough I know coloring with a mouse takes much more time than coloring with a pencil I wanted to give it a try well...at least it's done,lol.
Not asking for critique this time as always because it'll be useless,since it's a drawing for a contest.

congrats for your first pic completely coloured digitally
there are quite a few things i like about this pic,one of them being the lace on her skirt/dress which is sooo awesome and detailed *u* also,i think you're starting to become quite better at drawing clothing designs and folds too. i like that this work is not all rainbowy like most of your other works .rainbows are cool but when they are overused they can become tiring for the eyes 
i find this picture to be quite calming to the eyes because of the gentle colours you used both for the chara and for the bg . they really uniformize everything ^^
