I'm glad you mentioned that this is the kind of thing that everyone should find their own interpretation for. I was worried it was just based off of something and it would have made it slightly less awesome.
Because my initial thought is that the tear flies up while the broken wings fall. Her wings wings are what's holding her back from flying. These being these faulty and artificial wings in her mind, since I see this whole image being in the mind rather than a physical thing.
Glad I can keep this interpretation. Thanks!

True, but to me that always seemed like it stemmed from her confidence issue. (Whenever she gets mad or very happy she always becomes a much better flier.) Here's something interesting I just noticed, she has tears in the top of her eye, and what look like a teardrop just above hear mane falling upward. Maybe she's in like some sort of astral plane like limbo, or maybe even *stutters* dead...
