Description Although I'm from a metropolis myself (Berlin), London was a totally different experience.

It felt like multiculturalism has reached an other level there. I couldn't find a way to illustrate that feeling properly (: So these sketches are quite typical.

The multiculturalism thing is right. You wouldn't last a week living in London (excluding central London) being bigoted.

Come to Seattle next if you want some serious culture shock.

Haha, I guess there are enough culture shocks waiting for me.
London wasn't a serious culture shock indeed, I just didn't expect it to be that different.

London doesnt have the "kick" if you asked me, Perhaps its a good place to settle in when I am 50 years old but for me...its really not full as life as I want it to be...No offense to any londoners here!

Where is the "kick" then?

Cairo of course! Didn't go there for years! The sound of the birds waking u in the morning and the sound of the junk seller yelling ROBABIKYAA while a donkey is pulling the cart...yelling at your friends from the fifth floor and watch a couple of guys having a fight across the street ... Going down the building to see your neighbor chasing you down the stairs to see if he can borrow some of your kitchen equipment because the mother of his aunts wife is coming today ...or when you go down the streets to see people sitting at the ahwa smoking sheeesha or playing backgammon....I can go on and on and on.....

Ah sure. I guess when you're not used to it, you can simply get crushed by the liveliness of this city ^^

Perhaps I will visit it one day...I would gladly get crushed than die from boredom...

I love peace...when it's moderate...trust me I am extremely...*peaceful* that my friends don't remember ever seeing me active and doubt if I ever understand jokes lol....I have way too much peace in Kuwaiy lol. Although I appreciate extreme peace when I am going with special someone and I need 200 percent concentration lol....
